Roxx Records and the Christian Metal Realm recently announced the details on their long in the works tribute album celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Southern California Christian Thrash legends Deliverance.

"Temporary Insanity – A Salute to Deliverance" is set for release this August and hosts a variety of artists paying tribute to the band, some current, some past and even some special reunions all came together to lay down tracks for the disc! Including current and former members of bands such as The Crucified, Vengeance Rising, Deliverance and Hirax just to name a few; and special reunions from Oil and Eternal Decision all coming together just to contribute tracks for this project.

Arttie Parker owner of the Christian Metal Realm says “This CD started out in our online forum well over a year ago when some of the bands that frequent the board wanted to do a few tribute songs to ‘D’, then I started talking with Bill over at Roxx Records about it and it morphed in to a full on tribute CD with tons of artists in the mainstream Thrash and Christian Metal scenes all wanting to contribute to this project and give props to Deliverance as you can easily see by looking at the list of bands and artists we have lined up!”

Ravage Announces Tour Date Cancellations

Singer Al Firicano, of the thrash metal band, Ravage, has issued the following update regarding some tour date cancellations:

"Ravage has unfortunately been forced to cancel appearances at The KC Power Fest and the August 18th show at Volume 11 in Raleigh, NC (this show will still be taking place, but without Ravage). Due to issues with the Ravage mobile, we've been forced to wait for repairs to take place in Missouri, so we will be delayed significantly and will have to pick up the tour in Allentown PA on August 20th - that will be the next show. We'd like to sincerely apologize to the fans and promoters for this and we hope to add a Kansas City show and a Raleigh NC show back to the tour before it is all over. Faith Factor Prepare To Record

New Jersey based holy metallers FAITH FACTOR, fronted by former DEADLY BLESSING vocalist Ski, have issued the following update:

"Yes we are currently in talks with Charis Core Management to handle all US deals and Dragonight Agency from Poland to handle all overseas deals. We have done a lot of things on our own up to this point and for only having a three-song EP it has taken us far. We needed someone else to handle the business end of things so we can start on the next album entitled Against A Darkened Sky."

Faith Factor will be heading into the studio in January to commence work on "ten brand new songs of US power metal, with Christian lyrics."
