Emmure Added To TMT Metal Fest

Emmure has now been confirmed to play the upcoming TMT metal festival, which takes place from September 24th - 26th, 2010 in Middletown, New York. Emmure will be performing on the 25th. The list of confirmed bands so far includes Mushroomhead, Silent Civilian, Tantric, Steel Kingdom, Uncaged, Diecast, Goatwhore, Suffocation, Otep, Winds of Plague, Carnifex, and more.

TMT Metal Fest Comments On Rumors Of Drop Outs

The organizers of New York's TMT Metal Fest have issued the following statement about rumors of bands dropping off the bill:

"Well folks, Contrary to whatever idiots out there in metal land that are saying that any of the National Acts on the Fest are dropping out is a complete lie! I say this! Fuck them all! They are just weak ass haters with nothing else better to do. So if you want to listen to whomever, then go right ahead & sit home!"

The festival is set to take place from September 24th - 26th, 2010 in Middletown, New York. Announced bands for the lineup include Goatwhore, Suffocation, Otep, Winds of Plague, Carnifex, and more.

As I Lay Dying Announces Pre-Show Signings

As I Lay Dying will be meeting up with fans before every show on the band's headlining tour for a meet and greet/signing. The band will be signing autographs for 30 minutes as soon as doors open and will wrap up right before Carnifex hits the stage. As I Lay Dying will also be signing a free poster for fans that show up to the sessions. As I Lay Dying's headlining tour kicks off tomorrow in El Paso, TX at Club 101 and also includes Carnifex, All That Remains, and Unearth. The dates are as follows:

Carnifex Performance Footage Available

Metal Injection has posted two multi-cam live clips of San Diego's Carnifex for the tracks "Hell Chose Me" and "Entombed Monarch." This year's edition of the Summer Slaughter tour has added some more dates for this year's version of the event. Carnifex Announces North American Tour Dates

Carnifex has announces a headlining tour of North America, due to kick off at the beginning of April. Joining them on the tour will be British band Annotations Of An Autopsy, Suffokate, Your Demise and Upon A Burning Body.

Speaking about the tour, Annotations Of An Autopsy guitarist Jamie Sweeney commented: "As some of you may be aware, we missed the chance to tour the states at the end of 2009 with Dying Fetus and The Faceless because of visa difficulties. We promised you we would be back over as soon as we could and we've kept that promise. You'll find us touring the states with Carnifex at the beginning of April, we're really looking forward to this tour and to seeing you all at the shows! Make sure you come along and witness some of the heaviest bands of their genre doing what they do best!"

Unearth to Headline Atticus Metal Tour 2

Metal Blade Records and Atticus Clothing, in association with Revolver Magazine and Headbang for the Highway, have announced the dates for this year's Atticus Metal Tour II. The tour features Unearth as the headlining act with supporting bands Stick To Your Guns, Veil Of Maya, The Ghost Inside and Carnifex. In addition to the tour lineup, Darkest Hour, Stray From The Path and Your Demise will be joining the party on select dates.

UNEARTH's Trevor Phipps comments: "This is going to be our first North American Headlining tour in over a year and we are amped to get back out there. We'll be playing tunes from all of our albums, some extra deep cuts we haven't played in a while and some stuff we haven't played live yet from The March. We've been messing around with some different lights and stage set ups and will mix up the set each night, so it will be different from past tours.
