Bolt Thrower has released this bit of news regarding their first trip to the USA in 14 years:
"Due to the fact that we are not real festival lovers or great fans of flying, the chances of us ever coming to the States for a one-off show was always very small. But after years of relentless emails from Ryan we've finally given in. It's hard to believe that it's been 14 years since we last played in the US, so we are very happy to announce that we are finally coming back. Bolt Thrower will be playing Maryland Deathfest VII, on May 22-24, 2009, at Sonar, Baltimore, MD."
A few more bands were exected to be included in this announcement, but the organizers are still working on the details. Therefore, another announcement is expected with even more band confirmations in the near future, as they wrap up the booking process for Maryland Deathfest 2009
Tickets will definitely go on sale on Friday, November 7th.

The Bay Area's AGENDA OF SWINE saw the North American release of their Relapse debut, "Waves Of Human Suffering," this week. "Waves of Human Suffering" will see its international release next Monday, June 16th.
AGENDA OF SWINE recorded "Waves of Human Suffering" late last year with engineer Zach Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, CA (ANIMOSITY, ALL SHALL PERISH, LIGHT THIS CITY). To lead-up to the album's international release, Fairtilizer.com is streaming "Waves Of Human Suffering" in its entirety at this location.
AGENDA OF SWINE has also announced a free show in San Francisco, CA alongside EXODUS, HIRAX, and more on July 6th as part of the Tidal Wave Festival.
The Tidal Wave Metal Festival, born from the now defunct "Making Waves Festival," has announced a tentative lineup for the two-days free event. Celebrating it's 11th year of putting on the heaviest, FREE outdoor music festival on the west coast, Tidal Wave showcases the best thrash, doom, grind, punk, old school metal, etc., that the Bay Area, and beyond, has to offer.
The Tidal Wave is free to concert-goers, completely paid for by banner advertising, sponsorship, donations, and volunteers and is truly unlike any other music festival in existence. The free event is like a picnic in the park, with metal. You may bring whatever you want (dogs, food, coolers, cigarettes, mullets etc. are all ok). There will be raffles for merchandise donated from various sponsors and bands all day all day.
Here is the tentative line-up for The Tidal Wave 2008 festival:
Relapse Records has officially announced the signing of the Bay Area's Agenda of Swine. Agenda of Swine (Pete Ponitkoff - vocals, Jeff Lenormand – guitar, Jason Behan – guitar, Emad Jaghab – bass, John Gotelli – drums) formed after Ponitkoff disbanded previous project Benumb and Lenormand and Gotelli put Vulgar Pigeons on hiatus.
Agenda of Swine will finish recording their Relapse debut in December with engineer Zach Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios (Animosity, All Shall Perish) in Oakland, CA and the as-yet-untitled release will see an early-2008 release date.
Demo tracks from the group can be heard here.
