The organizers of Belgium's premier heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced three more names for this year's edition of the festival. Thrash metal super group Dublin Death Patrol, which features Testament frontman Chuck Billy and Hatriot/former Exodus vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza, will be performing at the event, as will Rise To Remain, which includes Austin Dickinson, the son o iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, as well as All Shall Perish. Metal Obsession reports that a number of new off-date "sideshows" by bands on Australia's Soundwave festival have been announced. These upcoming side shows include performances from QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE (no supports announced as of yet), BRING ME THE HORIZON (with Amity Affliction and Asking Axelandria) and PRIMUS (with The Melvins) who are currently on this years Soundwave festival roster, among other metal and hard rock heavyweights, which include IRON MAIDEN, DIMMU BORGIR and SLAYER.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE recently announced sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney to coincide with the current Soundwave festival tour coming this March. The sideshow events will take place on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney and on Thursday,March 3rd at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne.
BRING ME THE HORIZON along with AMITY AFFLICTION and ASKING ALEXANDRIA have announced sideshows for Thursday, March 1st at the UNSW Roundhouse in Sydney and on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Hifi Bar in Melbourne.
PRIMUS and THE MELVINS will be playing in Sydney on Monday, February 28th at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney and Thursday, March 3rd at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne. Primus/Melvins sideshow for Melbourne is currently on sale.
Tickets for these shows go on sale Friday, January 14th at 9am through all respected outlets.
Italy's horror-metal band STIGMA will release "The Undertaker EP," which features 3 new songs and the track "The Undertaker" taken from the group's sophomore effort "Concerto for the Undead." It has been confirmed that American metal act Slipknot will play direct support to British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden at the forthcoming Swiss edition of the Sonisphere festival. The Swiss edition of the Sonisphere festival is set to take place on June 24, 2011 in Basel, St. Jakob. Hard rock legend Alice Cooper is also set to perform.

Fan filmed footage has been posted online from the recent incident in which venue organizers cut a Bring Me The Horizon performance short by turning off the band's sound and audio equipment. The footage was taken during Bring Me The Horizon's December 12th appearance at the Wembley Arena in London, England. You can view the video below:
