Back from rehab and ready to go…
Motley Crue lead singer, Vince Neil, is set to receive an entertainment lifetime achievement award in Las Vegas. Rumor has it that there will be a special guest presenting the award to Neil. Given it is Las Vegas, fingers crossed that we may be very close to seeing Carrot Top’s defining moment in show business… More...
Forgetting about his recent trouble with the law, Vince Neil (Motley Crue) joined Steel Panther on stage at the Ovation Showroom in Green Valley Ranch, Las Vegas to sing Crue staples “Live Wire” and “Kick Start My Heart”. I’m not exactly sure where Green Valley Ranch is but I suspect the Ovation room is just down the hall from the Encore Center and Bravo-Bravo Hall… More...
Duff McKagan (Velvet Revolver, Loaded, ex-Guns N Roses) has recently undergone sinus surgery to fix a quarter size hole caused from drug use. Based on this information I have to assume at some point Steven Adler’s (Adler’s Appetite, ex-Guns N Roses) nickname was Silver Dollar… More...
In response to the Motley Crue/Poison 2011 tour Bret Michaels admits that his pre-mature announcement may have been a “pipe dream”. Vince Neil commented, saying it was “wishful thinking” at best. Is it just me or are these two being way too nice to each other? I smell another reality show. Ladies and gentlemen it’s VH1 Rock of Hair starring Vince Neil and Bret Michaels, watch as the two compete for well used girls, camera time, and dollars to go toward their next plastic surgery session… More...

In a recent interview with Classic Rock magazine, Slash (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N Roses) says that he considered Axl Rose (Guns N Roses) as one of the singers for his recent solo project, explaining that Rose would be able to sing the shit out of all of his songs. I also believe this would give the two an opportunity to bond; each day calling Steven Adler (Adler’s Appetite, ex-Guns N Roses) and ask if he wants to get the band together then yelling “psyche!” Then hanging up the phone… More...
Bret Michaels (Poison) is currently in discussions with Executives of American Idol over potentially being a judge for next year’s season. Even for FOX this is a little obvious, why not mix it up and throw Steven Adler (Adler’s Appetite, ex-Guns N Roses) in the mix, sitting next to Ellen (every five minutes whispering in her ear “I like lesbians”). Actually, why not really go for broke and have Adler, soft-spoken Slash (Velvet Revolver, ex-Guns N Roses), and Ozzy Osbourne as the judges, no one will understand a word which would be a welcomed change. Of course, we keep on Ellen because, well, we do like lesbians… More...
Forget Atkins, Low-Fat, or the South Beach diet: Try the new Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) Red Wine Only diet. Week six of Celebrity Fit Club displayed Bach easily beating ex-R&B star Bobby Brown in a long-distance running challenge up a hill. I guess I should point out Brown’s chronic chain smoking and potato chip addiction, but those are just details. Try the Red Wine Only diet today!... More...

ADLER'S APPETITE, the band led by former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, has cancelled its previously announced European tour. ENUFF Z'NUFF's Chip Z'Nuff, who is the current touring bassist for ADLER'S APPETITE, has issued the following statement on the matter:
"We sincerely apologize to all our friends and fans for the cancellation of this tour. Of course, Steven loves to play and meet his fans. Unfortunately, he has some personal issues that prevented him from participating. He was optimistic about doing the shows, but when it came down to it, he just couldn't. Steven's like a brother to us, and we just want to see him healthy. We're looking forward to making up these shows next year. Please forgive us, and thank you for your patience and understanding. Peace." More...

According to the Mexican newspaper El Universal, former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler fell ill during a live performance in Mexico City Wednesday night (September 19) and was treated by paramedics at the scene, a Red Cross spokeswoman told The Associated Press. The spokeswoman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Adler was not hospitalized after the Red Cross treated him. She didn't know why the drummer had gotten sick.
Adler was in Mexico with the band ADLER'S APPETITE on a tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of the GUNS N' ROSES album "Appetite for Destruction". Initial news reports saying Adler suffered from hypertension could not be confirmed. The general manager at Hard Rock Live, the venue where the concert took place, did not return phone calls from The Associated Press.
The other members of GUNS N' ROSES band threw Adler out in 1989, saying his drug use was harming his performance. In 1993, the band agreed to pay him $2.3 million to settle Adler's lawsuit claiming a 1990 agreement by which he gave up his interest in the band was read to him and signed without his attorney present.
Billbaord.com reports: With the big "Appetite For Destruction" 20th anniversary show behind him, original Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler is looking forward to taking his Adler's Appetite band worldwide. But he's also holding out hope for a blowout reunion bash with his former bandmates.
"I believe I made it this far for some reason," Adler tells Billboard.com. "I want to finish what we started, and ... with the love and support I got from those guys, I think we can (reunite). I'm gonna leave it up to Axl [Rose]. That's gonna be Axl's call, and I love Axl and I know he'll make the right call."
At Saturday's (July 28th) show at West Hollywood's Key Club, Adler and company were joined by Gunners Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan, while guitarist Slash watched a few songs before leaving for a prior commitment. The group is next headed to South America for a series of shows in Argentina, Peru and Chile before returning home to play the Vegas Rocks magazine party on Aug. 11 in Las Vegas. More dates in South America and Europe are in the offing.
"We're gonna be busy working until pretty much Christmas, which I'm excited about," he says. "I love playing live, especially for people who love the music and appreciate it and show nothing but love to me and respect. I love it, and I give it all back."
Adler started Appetite about six years ago, but it's become a more serious concern during the past year, since he got sober and put together a lineup that includes Enuff Z'Nuff bassist Chip Z'Nuff, guitarists Michael Thomas from Faster Pussycat and Kristy "Krash" Majors frrom Pretty Boy Floyd, and singer Colby Veil from the GNR tribute band Hollywood Roses. "There's only one Axl," Z'nuff notes, "but (Veil) comes close, and all the Guns N' Roses guys love him."
The Key Club show was filmed and recorded for a possible release, and the Adler's Appetite members are also writing songs with plans to record and release an album in 2008. "I think we can make a great record," says Z'Nuff, adding that all of Adler's GNR bandmates have expressed interest in playing on it. "It takes a little while to make a great record and to get all them great players to come down and play."
