Modern Crimes Reveals New Album Details

Canadian thrashers, Modern Crimes, have posted a new song, entitled “Condemned to Fail,” on their MySpace page. The song comes off their upcoming self titled album, which will be released on June 17th.

“Modern Crimes” will contain the following track listing:

Modern Crimes To Hit The Studio In March

MODERN CRIMES issue the following update:

"What are modern crimes?"

"The question is not what, but who are Modern Crimes? With a no holds bared straight edge thrash/punk sound. Modern Crimes are the five original members of A PERFECT MURDER. They are working on their first self-titled album and will be entering Wild Studio in March with producer Pierre Rémillard (MISERY INDEX, ION DISSONANCE, DESPISED ICON, KATAKLYSM). The album will also feature guest vocals by Karl Buechener from EARTH CRISIS, with a tentative release for early June 2008 followed by a Canadian tour."

A Perfect Murder Members Form New Band

Now that A Perfect Murder has disbanded, the original members of the group have formed a new band called Modern Crimes. The line-up features Carl Bouchard on guitar, Yan Chausse on drums, Luc Verville on bass, Frank Pellerin on vocals and Kevin Lemire on guitar. Modern Crimes is currently writing material for a new release, and shows should begin to take place in September. The obligatory Myspace page now exists here.
