Machine Men are happy guys these days. The young Finns earned great reactions during their performance at Earthshaker Fest last weekend and made a lot of new friends. What´s happening right now in the official Finnish single charts can easily be described as little sensation: the single “Falling”, taken from the upcoming album “Elegies”, is still in the top 20 on position 17 in its third week. Wow!
Machine Men will be performing on Wacken Open Air 2005 (Saturday, August 6th, W.E.T. Stage at 16:15 CET to 17:00 CET) to convince the metal fans with another brilliant show. All the metalheads who are not able to join this huge event will get their chance to catch up our newcomers on stage soon, as Machine Men are confirmed as support for Sonata Arctica on their European tour.

Sonata Arctica will return to North America with a big headliner tour through the US and Canada in January and February of 2006.
So far, two venues have been announced:
Jan. 18 New York City - B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill
Feb. 10 Los Angeles - Key Club
Other dates are as follows: More...
John Two-Hawks, a Native American hailing from Arkansas, will appear on the stage to perform the song "Creek Mary's Blood" with NIGHTWISH during their special concert at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki on October 21, 2005.
John Two-Hawks is a multi-instrumentalist who is devoted to spreading the culture and mentality of Native Americans. He has published six solo albums, and although he is constantly touring the U.S., Two-Hawks is very rarely seen on European soil.
"Creek Mary's Blood" was composed by NIGHTWISH keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen and the song was featured on NIGHTWISH's platinum-selling (in Finland) "Once" album. On "Creek Mary's Blood" John Two-Hawks plays the flute and reads a poem translated to his native language. The song has never before been performed by its original recording lineup.
"Once Upon A Tour 2004-2005" has been selling out venues around the world for nearly 18 months and the group are now keen to end the tour on their home turf. At more than 150 shows on all continents, more than one million spectators have witnessed the NIGHTWISH spectacle. The Hartwall Arena show will be their last before NIGHTWISH take a lengthy break, estimated to last for at least 18 months, during which they will compose and record the follow-up to their highly successful "Once" album.
NIGHTWISH will be filming the Helsinki show for future release as a full-length DVD. The director will be Antti Jokinen, who has previously worked with the group on the "Nemo" clip. The show will be recorded with 20 cameras, which is unheard of in Finland. But then again, not many bands have sold 2.5 million records and are able to present a spectacle featuring such an arsenal of sound, light, visuals and pyro effects.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Monday, July 25 at 9:00 a.m. through Lippupalvelu and Menolippu.
The concert will be presented in cooperation with Radio City, whose metal program, "Rautakanki", will offer special features and contests regarding this event, as well as Sue magazine, the biggest music magazine in Finland. Also appearing on the bill will be SONATA ARCTICA.
Nightwish has announced that they will end their 1.5-year-long Once Upon a Tour world tour at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland on October 21. The supporting band is Sonata Arctica and special guest is John Two-Hawks. The concert will be filmed on DVD and will be directed by Antti Jokinen. Tickets will be on sale starting July 25 through Lippupalvelu (www.lippupalvelu.fi) and Menolippu (www.menolippu.fi).

Sonata Arctica have confirmed two more shows: Metalway Festival in Gernika, Spain on Aug. 12 and Summer Darkness in Utrecht, Netherlands on Aug. 13.
THUNDERSTONE and MACHINE MEN are said to be in talks to support SONATA ARCTICA on their upcoming headlining tour of Europe, scheduled for September.
THUNDERSTONE will release their third full-length album, "Tools of Destruction", in the U.S. on June 28 via Nuclear Blast Records. "Tools of Destruction" was mixed at Timo Tolkki's (STRATOVARIUS) Goldenworks studio with producer/guitarist Nino Laurenne.
MACHINE MEN are scheduled to release their new album, "Elegies", on July 25 via Century Media Records. "Elegies" was recorded by THUNDERSTONE's Nino Laurenne at Sonic Pump Studios (OMNIUM GATHERUM, THUNDERSTONE) and mastered at the established Finnvox Studios. The CD includes nine catchy and profoundly melodic new songs as well as a cover version of BRUCE DICKINSON's "Freak".
