Sylosis & Whitechapel Announce Co-Headline Tour
Sylosis has announced a formidable 6-date, co-headline run across the UK and Ireland in January 2027 with American deathcore bruisers Whitechapel. 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze will be joining as supports.
This devastating package will also hit mainland Europe, with Whitechapel headlining these shows and Sylosis supporting.
Sylosis stated:
"Following the success of the recent New Flesh headline tour, we really wanted to get back around the UK and mainland Europe as soon as possible. When we knew there was a chance to team up with Whitechapel, we knew this was the obvious choice! They've been around for a long time, much like ourselves, and have consistently released brilliant albums. It's been great to see them do so well over recent years. We will co-headline in the UK, then head out as special guests in Europe alongside 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze. Another 2 bands that are absolutely killing it right now. This is one hell of a package and an opportunity to bring more songs from The New Flesh into a live environment in some of our favourite markets. Don't sleep on tickets! See you out there - Josh, Ali, Ben, Conor"

Whitechapel Unveils "Prisoner 666" Video
Whitechapel is pleased to present their new video for "Prisoner 666." The track comes off of the band‘s Hymns In Dissonance full-length, released earlier this year on Metal Blade Records.
Comments vocalist Phil Bozeman: "’Prisoner 666‘ was the first song we wrote and musically feels like the 2014/2021 Whitechapel morphing back into the 2006-2010 Whitechapel and continuing the 2006-2010 era for the rest of the album. This is the beginning of the narrative of ’the last living son‘ of the Father Of Lies coming to be. Relinquishing his faith, religion, burning the church, and serving Satan, who he believes is his father."
Adds guitarist Alex Wade: “It‘s got heavy ’Saw Is The Law‘ [from the band‘s 2014 Our Endless War full-length] vibes in the opening groove; it‘s like we took that song and made it more epic and melodic. The ’beats per minute‘ are pretty similar to ’Saw….‘” More...

Whitechapel Announces New Album Release Date
Whitechapel will release their long-awaited new full-length, "Hymns In Dissonance," on March 7th via Metal Blade Records.
"There is nothing nice about 'Hymns In Dissonance,' from the riffs, to the lyrics, to the overall vibe of the album," says guitarist Alex Wade of the band‘s latest output. "We attempted to write our heaviest album to date. We wanted to put out something that was shockingly menacing and brutal."
"The album follows the story of a cultist who is gathering worthy people to join his cult," Wade further elaborates, "and there are moments in the storyline where the cult followers are singing an evil hymn to open a portal for the head cultist to enter."
The band‘s dynamic, brutal musicality serves as a soundtrack to the compelling lyrical story that vocalist Phil Bozeman vividly imagines. "Hymns In Dissonance" is a mockery of the true nature of what hymns are,” Bozeman explains. "Hymns are melodious and harmonious. Dissonance is the opposite of melody and harmony. Dissonance represents evil. The tracks on the record are the hymns, which represent the seven deadly sins, beginning from Track three to Track ten. Tracks one and two are the introduction."
The lineup‘s timely and terrifying vision was first unveiled in the Fall of 2024 with the single "A Visceral Retch" inciting frenzied fans to call the song “a version of Whitechapel we have never heard before. Can‘t explain how absolutely goddamn brutal this song is. This is a total dream come true.” The title track is the LP‘s second single. More...

Thy Art Is Murder Premiere New Single

The separation came only days before the album’s debut, prompting the group to recruit Tyler Miller to re-record McMahon’s vocals, creating a challenging rollout.
Now, with those events behind them, the new track “Through Blood I Purify” signifies the official start of the Miller-led chapter of the band. A lyric video for the song has been made available online below.
Thy Art Is Murder will also be performing at the following upcoming shows: More...
Whitechapel Releases New Standalone Single
Whitechapel is pleased to unleash their brand-new standalone single, "A Visceral Retch." Relentlessly slamming, ominous, and punishing, the track delivers a dark, twisted theme about gluttonous overlords who test the lengths to which humans will go to survive and join their cult. At once brutal and disturbing, it‘s a prime song for any extreme metal playlist.
Comments Whitechapel vocalist Phil Bozeman, "’A Visceral Retch‘ is a song that fans of The Somatic Defilement will latch onto immediately. It was one of the first songs we had in the chamber to work with. This song came to light thanks mostly to [guitarist] Zach Householder. He showed us and we all immediately said, ’yup, that‘s it.‘ Zach is notorious for very dark and horror-like vibes so this album is right in his wheelhouse. The song is disturbing. Imagine being put in a situation of survival by gluttonous, mammoth demons that give you a choice. Eat the demons‘ waste, eat each other, or starve to death. The twist, you‘re against the people you love the most. It‘s a way to find the ones that are truly evil people to build and strengthen their cult. It also represents how horrible people can really be, when push comes to shove."
