Blistering Records has announced the signing of German melofic metal band Saidian. Their third album and Blistering Records debut, entitled "Evercircle," is due out May 29, 2009.
Founded in 2004 things moved rapidly in the Saidian camp as the guys released their debut album, "For Those Who Walked The Path Forlorn" the following year. This record was promoted by a full European tour with Jon Oliva's Pain. The Savatage mastermind liked the band so much he contributed guest vocals on their following album, "Phoenix," which was released in September 2006. Hitting the club and festival circuit, Saidian's meteoric rise peaked with an earth shaking performance at the first Magic Circle Festival in summer 2007 (also documented on the Magic Circle Festival DVD Vol. 1).
Now with the strongest lineup to date the band cut its new album, "Evercircle." The recording took place between March and September of 2008 with the talents of German producer Axel Heckert, (now also Saidian's live engineer). "Evercircle" showcases a broader musical spectrum for Saidian including a mix of headbanging anthems, melodic rockers, powerful ballads and the band's first cover song, the 1981 hit, “Tokyo” from the German hard rock band of the same name (later known as Craaft).
Saidian has a couple of upcoming shows, including:
May 23 Rockfabrik (Club 2), Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
May 31 Kutival Open Air, Bretten/ Gölshausen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Two more bands have been confirmed for the Magic Circle Festival. IMPERIA and SAIDIAN will both perform on Friday, July 6th 2007.
Unfortunately GALAXY had to cancel their performance at the Magic Circle Festival due to visa and immigration complications. However Galaxy would like to say to all metal fans that they will find a way to make it up to them in the future.
IMPERIA is an atmospheric metal band who's sound is especially evident by the distinguished and remarkable strong voice of Helena Iren Michaelsen (ex-Trail Of Tears), who sings in a variety of styles from deep emotional feelings to extreme operatic expressions. The music is full of vivacity, it is heavy, bombastic and orchestral, but it also contains elements of pure metal. The band is a true cross-border unit of musicians originating from different countries: Norway, Finland, Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands. Through hard work and extensive touring the band has earned its reputation as a powerful live band.
SAIDIAN is Germany’s Melodic Metal sensation from 2005. They will be promoting their latest record "Phoenix," which features headbanging tracks, fantastic guitar work, an ass-kickin rhythm section and outstanding vocal performances of singer Markus "Angel" Engelfried.
