Straight Line Stitch Cancels Tour Dates

Straight Line Stitch has issued the following announcement about canceling upcoming tour dates:

"It is with an EXTREMELY heavy heart that we have to announce the cancellation of our current tour (Winter Madness Tour).

"This is due to extreme circumstances beyond our control and it's not easy for us to announce this since we're not accustomed to cancelling ANY shows EVER. We play an average of 200+ shows per year (since 2006) and this is a first.

"We wanna deeply personally apologize to all our fans, friends, promoters, and venues this is affecting directly. We hope to make these dates up in the future and from our camp to all of you,..we are so very sorry.

"Thanks for all the support from those of you that have already heard of our circumstances we do appreciate every damn one of you! Again our apologies to EVERYONE."

Straight Line Stitch Part Ways With Drummer

Straight Line Stitch have announced the departure of drummer Kanky Lora from its ranks. Lora has since posted the following statement online in regards to the matter.

"First and foremost, I want to say how grateful I am for all of the incredible people I have met that have become like family to me. I have decided to step away from SLS. I actually made this decision and informed the band of my departure, after our last European tour. And now with the New Year and a fresh start, I feel now is the best time to show this to the public.

Obliviously, there are many reasons behind this decision, but none that I feel the need to discuss since I would like to leave in good faith. I will always cherish the countless memories, good and bad, and will always be thankful for all of the great experiences that I’ve had with the band. Thank you to all the fans for your generous support and God bless you all. I wish nothing but the best and good luck to the band and their future members.

As of right now, Im still producing and engineering and had a few offers for touirng already so I will be hitting the road soon,Im still looking to join another band full time as well."
