This will not be the first time that Viking metallers HELHEIM join forces with avant-garde metallers, and Dark Essence Records stable mates, VULTURE INDUSTRIES to tour. Commented HELHEIM frontman and bass player V'gandr, "We have all known each other for far too long, and the last couple of tours we did together was fun to do, to put it mildly. It helps to know who you are dealing with — there's nothing worse than touring with someone you don't get on with, and we can always be sure that there will be plenty of laughs and beer flowing on the way with the VULTURE INDUSTRIES guys."
HELHEIM recently caused a sensation in Norway when it launched its "Kaoskult" album in front of an audience of young children in a kindergarten.
Norwegian black metal band BLACK HOLE GENERATOR, which includes members of TAAKE, VULTURE INDUSTRIES, AETERNUS, GRIMFIST and DEATHCON, has been selected as one of Solarfall radio's "Artists of the Month" for May. The band will feature on the "Hellfire" show, which airs every Thursday between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. CST (between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. CET) on www.solarfall.com.
As well as preparing to record the band's new album, vocalist Bjornar Nilssen, owner of the Conclave Media Studios in Bergen (together with Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal of ENSLAVED), will himself enter the studio shortly to produce the next album from DEAD TO THIS WORLD, the band fronted by former IMMORTAL bassist Iscariah.
