Breather Resist Non-Album Tracks for Free Download

Robotic Obscurities has rounded up a bunch of non-album tracks off of singles, splits, and demos from defunct band Breather Resist and made them available for free download. Use one of the following links below:

"What's included in this download is everything I could find by BREATHER RESIST that isn't on their two most widespread/album releases Only In The Morning and Charmer. I doubt it's everything non-album that they recorded, but its everything that I have or could find."

"They released a handful of splits (w/ HARKONEN and SUICIDE NOTE), three additional singles ('Patent Cruciform Casket', 'The Second Half' and 'Full Of Tongues') and some additional tracks are included here as well, including demos/early versions of a couple songs that ended up reworked for YOUNG WIDOWS' debut album, 'Settle Down City.' 17 tracks in total here, some of which have been available on blogs elsewhere, but most weren't ripped at a very good quality. I got as much of this direct from source as possible, and added in a few extra things that I've squirreled away over the years."

Breather Resist Becomes Young Widows

Breather Resist has essentially been put to bed and members of the band have started a new project called Young Widows. According to the band, "After recording we decided it would be unfair to keep the name Breather Resist due to the fact that the stuff we have written now is not Breather Resist... it's something else... You follow? So we have left the name behind and are now, Young Widows." The group has posted unmastered material from their upcoming Jade Tree Records release online.

In related news, former Breather Resist vocalist Steve Sindoni has started a band called Pusher. The band also features former Lickgoldensky drummer Eric McManus and will enter the studio with Chris Owens (of Lords) next month.

Breather Resist Part With Singer

Breather Resist have parted ways with vocalist Steven Sindoni. Reasons behind the move haven't been detailed, but Sindoni will not be replaced. Instead, bandmates Evan Patterson and Nick Thieneman will handle vocals going forward. Additionally, the group will no longer play material from previous records. According to Patterson, "Most of the lyrics are written from [Steve's] perspective and it would insulting to ever attempt to play those songs without him."

Meanwhile, Breather Resist have written nine new songs and continue to write more. They expect to release a new album next fall. For his part, Sindoni is forming a new band that will begin practicing next month.
