Church of the 8th Day, the organizers behind the Los Angeles Murderfest, are proud to announce the next round of bands for the festival, set to take place April 18th, 19th, 20th at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, California as well as announce that tickets for the fest are on sale now!
Daniel Dismal, the festivals founder had this to say about the line-up thus far…
“This years Murderfest has been coming together in ways that we could never imagine! The response thus far has been amazing and most of it has come without us actually announcing most of the headliners. We’re definitely excited about 4.0 and I think once the whole line-up is released people will be amazed at this years fest. I encourage everyone to try and buy their tickets in advance as the Knitting Factory realistically only holds 700 people.”

TRAP THEM, the brutal metal/hardcore band formed by Ryan McKenney (ex-BACKSTABBERS INC.) and Brian Izzi (ex-DECEMBER WOLVES), has signed with Deathwish Records. The group will enter Godcity Studios this summer to record "Seance Prime" for a late 2007 release.
In early 2007, TRAP THEM released two records on Rhode Island's Trash Art! label, both engineered by Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE) at Godcity Studios. First was their crushing "Self Titled" debut 7" EP. Bringing to mind influences ENTOMBED, NASUM, and even BLACK FLAG, the release was a devastating three song wake up call to the aggressive music community. Just two months later, TRAP THEM released "Sleepwell Deconstructor", their debut full-length on Trash Art! The CD's viciousness is awe-inducing, proving that they already deserve to stand among the elite of the extreme metal and hardcore genre.
