The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have announced the addition of thrash metal legends Exodus and power metal veterans Seven Witches. The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have confirmed a further seven bands for next year's edition of the event. Joining the already impressive lineup are The Faceless, Whiplash, Incantation, Havok, Edenbridge, November's Doom and Ghost Ship Octavius. This brings the number of bands up to forty three, with sixty in total to perform. The ship will set sail to Cozumel, Mexico on January 7th and return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 11th.

Jinjer And The Agonist Storm The Thekla
There's been no shortage of awesome tours this year. We've seen thrash legends combine forces, bands from different sub-genres unite and pairings as black and heavy as dark matter. With all these having come and gone, it's exciting to have had one more rumble through the UK, as Jinjer and The Agonist took their European tour to this divided island to unify head bangers. Fortunately, when they came to Bristol, they took the show to the perhaps the best venue in the city, The Thekla, a boat with the grit of old school venues yet the romance of the water.
Opening the show this evening was Space Of Variations, who hail from historically fascinating Ukrainian city of Vinnytsya. Much like their countrymen and headliners Jinjer, the band is pretty hard to define, combining metal, rock, hardcore, rap and some electronic influences. The best way one could describe their sound is Madball meets The Crystal Method. Sometimes having so many different sounds can be too much for a band to pull of live, but this quartet were absolutely superb from start to finish. Frontman Dima Kozhuhar is a particular highlight, radiating with intensity throughout the set, without coming across as trying too hard. Fleshgod Apocalypse Announces North American Tour
Italian orchestral-death metal giants, Fleshgod Apocalypse, will make their triumphant return to North America in 2020 in support of their Veleno album. For the first time in the band’s celebrated career they’ll be doing a full tour accompanied by a classical string quartet, which will be an unprecedented experience for death metal fans.
Fleshgod Apocalypse will be joined by special guests The Agonist on the excursion, that begins in Dallas, TX on March 16 and culminates in Los Angeles on April 6. Ticket on-sales are listed below:

White-Gluz Denies Trying "To Kill The Agonist"
Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz has issued a statement shooting down all allegations that she has been trying to prevent the release of the The Agonist's latest album. Vicky Psarakis, who replaced White-Gluz in The Agonist, stated in a recent interview that Alissa had been sabotaging her former band, telling: “I will say that she [Alissa White-Gluz] has been trying to kill this band ever since she was fired.”

The Agonist’s Singer Blames Ex-Singer For CD-Delay
The Agonist’s singer Vicky Psarakis recently told Rock Confidential speaking of the difficulties the band had with their impending album “Orphans“ (due out now on September 20 via Rodeostar Records):
"Basically, the main thing is that we didn't have a label at the time. And that is for reasons aside from the music. A lot of things happen that I personally don't deal with at all. I don't even wanna deal with it. I'm just here to write music and sing. Some people out there didn't want us to release this album and we just kept really, really pushing and pushing and we almost considered just releasing it on our own — which isn't a smart business decision. But we were, I think after six months, we were frustrated and sitting on this album that's so good and we couldn't do anything about it. And then finally, Napalm reached out to us and proposed to release it under a sub-label of theirs called Rodeostar. And as far as we're concerned, we're using all the same resources from Napalm — the same team of people, same social media outlets. So we were, like, 'Okay, let's do it.'"
