Romanian black metallers Negura Bunget have issued the following statement about releasing a new album and live DVD:
"Maiestrit / Maiastru sfetnic, along Focul Viu (live DVD) are the last materials materials that we worked under the original formula of the band. The first idea to re-record entirely the Maiastru sfetnic album we had soon after the original release came out in 1999. It took some years though before we finally started doing it, in 2008. After a lot of work the basic elements were already recorded in April 2009, when Negura Bunget parted ways with Hupogrammos and Sol Faur. It remained their task though to complete the work on this material. And now 'Maiestrit' is the final legacy of the Negura Bunget past. Release date is schedueled for February 2010.

Negura Bunget Drops Off Satyricon Tour
Romanian black metallers Negura Bunget have issued the following statement about dropping off their upcoming tour with Satyricon:
"We regret to announce that Negura Bunget is forced to cancel its participation on the Satyricon tour from December. The whole tour plans are poorly fixed for the moment, and the main organizer, Vain Productions, has been doing some strange arrangements concerning Negura Bunget, announcing us then canceling us from gigs without being informed, so we are now forced to cancel our participation. We made a lot of sacrifices to make this tour happen for us, so we regret doing this, but at the same time the way things are happening, it would just be a waste of energy for something that doesn’t look to happen in good conditions.
"For all the people who wanted to see us, we announce now officially that we will be doing a full European Tour in spring next year, promoting our new album 'Vîrstele pamîntului', as well as the soon to be released live DVD 'Focul Viu' and 'Maiestrit' our 'Maiastru sfetnic' album re-recording. We hope to see you all there under better circumstances."

Vîrstele pamîntului is an album about places of the earth and places of the spirit, about bounds transcending worlds.
