Impending Doom Working On New Album
Impending Doom will enter the studio this week to work on the band's upcoming yet to be titled new record. The band will begin work with producer Andreas Magnusson with Machine for mixing.
"After months of preparation the time has finally come to start production on our next full length! Without going into the cliche of trying to explain how this is our 'heaviest' or 'most mature' material, I will spare the insincere rant and just say that this is by for OUR favorite material and we can't wait to share it with you guys," says guitarist Cory Johnson.
Impending Doom recently concluded a run on the "The Nocturnal Alliance Tour," co-headlining in the U.S. and Canada along side Mychildren Mybride.
The band also recently signed a world wide deal with eOne Music. "We're very excited to start a new chapter in our career on a label who has proven to be a staple in the metal community. We're certain that with our new material, the touring plans we have on the horizon and having such a powerful label behind us there will be no stopping Impending Doom," Johnson concludes.

Whitechapel Announces European Tour Dates
American extreme metal outfit Whitechapel has announced that they will be heading to Europe in April for their first headlining tour overseas. Joining them on the trek will be The Acacia Strain and Impending Doom.
Guitarist Alex Wade stated: "We're really excited to headline the UK and Europe for the first time. Whenever we have came over it's always been to support or for festivals. Now we can give our fans the proper headlining show they deserve! We're also really excited to be bringing our friends in The Acacia Strain and Impending Doom over as well. Don't miss this tour!"

Daath Checks in From European Tour
DAATH recently completed a North America run with Chimaira and Impending Doom. The band will be heading on another European tour soon with Fear Factory. A fan filmed video capturing the impressive Kevin Talley drum solo and the band's performance of the new track, “Double Tap Suicide,” can be seen here.
Levi comments, “DAATH is in Europe for the second time this year. We’ve been so busy making records that we haven’t been able to tour much; but what we’ve done so far counts like a motherfucker: Slayer and Festival dates this summer, Fear Factory/High on Fire tour this winter. The best part for us is that we didn’t just fly over here to start a tour cold. We kicked ass across the Northeast with Chimaira, Impending Doom and This or The Apocalypse this past November. It was some of the best fun we’ve had on any tour ever. On top of the fact that Chimaira is an extremely cool band to tour with, this was a very big one for us on multiple levels. As a band we are the most gelled live that we have ever been. We’re tighter than ever and goddamn; Kevin’s drum solo is badass. Whoever saw us on that leg got the chance to see the production we’ve added to the show as well. We’re always adding to it. As if blinding you guys wasn’t enough, let me just say that we’re going beyond just the lights."
“I’m writing to you guys from my Hotel Room in Luxemburg, exhausted. We finished the Chimaira run, drove to the airport, hopped on a plane to Europe and immediately met up with Fear Factory & High on Fire. It was a hell of a lot of traveling and of course with all that comes a lot of bullshit these days. Though as soon as we hopped up on stage and started playing it was all forgotten and the bullshit just melted away. The show was killer, the bands are killer, we’re just stoked to be bringing it to Europe yet again! Look for more updates on some upcoming tour videos we’ll be doing. I hope you are all doing well and I will check back in with you soon.” More...

Whitechapel's Corruptour in Nashville (With Video)
A weekend metal show is the perfect opportunity for every metalhead in a hundred-mile radius to get their fix of headbanging and ear damage. A weekend metal show with bands that complement each others’ sound and keep up a consistent level of energy through the entire show is a big reason not to miss the opportunity. Five bands specializing in crushing riffs, otherworldly death metal vocals, and syncopated rhythms teamed up for such a show -- Nashville, TN at Rocketown on the night of October 22nd into the morning of the 23rd. With Whitechapel headlining, I Declare War opened the show. Following them were Oceano, Miss May I, and Impending Doom. There were enough sub drops throughout the show to make Rocketown’s foundation shift. More...

Impending Doom Comments On Lineup Changes
Impending Doom's David Sitting responds to the rumors that the band has recently lost members:
"Yes, it's true we have parted ways with both Manny and Isaac. Both of them felt like this was not for them anymore; it happened a while back before we entered the studio. Not everyone can maintain the amount of passion that Impending Doom requires. That being said, we are still great friends with both Manny and Isaac and wish them both nothing but the best. Our good friend Brandon Trahan (ex Mirror of Dead Faces) has stepped in on drums and just recently finished tracking on our upcoming record, which will be released this summer. As for rhythm guitar, we have someone stepping in for our upcoming tours and summer festivals. Be on the look out for new tour dates and a new record."
