Swiss metal band Sybreed has revealed the front cover for new album "God is an Automaton," which was designed by Seth Siro Anton of Septicflesh. The new album is set to be released on Listenable on Sept 24th (Europe) and October 2nd (North America).
Seth Siro Anton states: "My works are distorting dream mirrors of the body and soul. Human nature attracted often to specific Art forms which are essentially attracted by the reflected dream world. On Sybreed's new artwork I tried to decode-externalize The Architect of the Blackest light, an Automated God, an Ironic Priest which is fighting between two different levels of reality. An Ironic Synthesis combination of modern Classicism. It was a great challenge and pleasure trying to visualize their new masterpiece." More...

Swiss industrial/groove metal band Sybreed announced that the band has finished writing the fourth album, entitled "God Is An Automaton," which is slated for release in April of 2012. The band will begin drum recordings today at Downtone Studio in Geneva. Mixing will take place in Los Angeles by Rhys Fulber. The band also head out to Australia for a tour in March of 2012.
The following update was posted on the band's official Facebook page:
"We have been kind of quiet recently so this is definitely time to give you some updates, isn't it?
"Indeed we have just recently finished composing our new album and are about to begin the recording sessions, starting with the drums on this Monday the 12th of December @ the Downtone Studio (Geneva) until we leave to Australia for touring next March. The mixing itself, supervised by Mr Rhys Fulber once again, should take place in April 2012 in L.A., and we will handle the artwork part to Seth Siro Anton (again as well).
"So far, we won’t reveal the tracking list itself (because, well, fuck, we decided so), but we can at least announce the title of this forthcoming LP, which will be called “God is an Automaton”.
"We will try to keep you updated this time through impromptu videos of recording failures, small suicidal notes from band members unable to nail some specific part, pictures of a disgruntled, exhausted guitar player who happen to also record the whole mess, and so on, until we are finally done with our new offspring.
"Stay (down)tuned. Sybreed"
