Pyschostick Checks In From Tour

In the midst of a tour with Amercian Head Charge, Josh "The J" Keys, guitarist for comedy rock kings Psychostick, comments on the band's upcoming tour stop in Twin Lakes, WI for the WIIL Rockfest on August 24th.

Josh says: "WIIL Rock has been a big supporter of Psychostick over the years, and we're so stoked to play WIIL Rock Fest that it makes me want to do the happiest happy-dance that the world has ever seen. Twice!"

The festival's lineup includes: Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains, Adam Gontier, Nonpoint, Trapt, Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, Red Line Chemistry, Airbourne, Soil, Art of Dying, Wayland, Brand New Machine, and Edisun.

Psychostick guitarist Josh "The J" Key also comments: "This song declares war on terrible, bitchy, whiney, pointless, attention-seeking posts. If you need someone to listen to your problems, go see a therapist (No... REALLY, stop reading this and go talk to a professional RIGHT NOW). What I love about this video is the feel. We wanted to feel like you were being yelled at you through the internet to knock that shit off. Another great thing about this video is how many hidden gems are in it. If you pause the video and take time to read all the mock comments, you will be greatly rewarded." More...

"Attention all band, promoter, and booking agent friends. Diecast is currently organizing a benefit concert with 100% of the proceeds going to the recent Boston Marathon Tragedy.

"The One Fund Boston has been set up to help those who were affected by the tragedy. I am asking that if you or a band you're in or a band you represent or heck a band you're just friends with, to reach out to us as we are looking to collect signed memorabilia with Boston Strong written on the items (ie drumheads, cd's, t-shirts, posters, etc.) The memorabilia is going to be needed to auction off at the benefit show.

"So far we have collected from my great friends in Crossfade, Rev Theory, Hollywood Undead, Diecast, Psychostick, and more... Need all the music community to step up here to do our part! All I ask is for a couple items. Hit me up if your band wants to help! They would be included in all the online ads, social media sites, band logo on the flyers, and their music played at the club during set changes, as well as in print ads! Hit me up ASAP and god bless!

"Let's show Boston how strong the music community is and what Boston means to the bands!!! Please email our management at alltogethermanagement@gmail.com with ideas, questions, or comments. The show date will be determined in the coming weeks and of course will be in Boston. Also if you are in a local Boston band and are interested in playing on this show, please email management as well. Thanks!" More...

Nashville Pussy's Rolling Party Rolls and Parties!

So much so that they must have spent at least twice as many nights on the road as they have at home since they began playing their dirty, bluesy rock back in 1996. Out on their most recent tour, the “Parental Advisory Tour,” along with comedy rock/metal outfits Green Jello and Psychostick, Nashville Pussy is bringing their rolling party to a club near you! And if you like rock and booze, or if you like just one of those things, you want to see this show really bad. More...

Parental Advisory Tour Dates and Lineup Announced

Underground comedy/metal band Psychostick has announced that they will take part in the Parental Advisory Tour with Green Jelly and Nashville Pussy. The tour kicks off in Orlando, FL, on March 25th and will run through June 7th.

“Our fans have been suggesting a tour with Green Jelly since forever,” says Psychostick vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey. “Having Nashville Pussy headline the whole thing will only make this tour even better. We’re looking forward to the run and think our fans will really dig it.”

This tour marks the debut of Psychostick’s new bassist, Matt Kyzmeck. “Billy Rymer, the drummer from Dillinger Escape Plan, recommended Matt to us,” says Psychostick drummer Alex Preiss. “He [Matt] passed with flying colors and we're very excited to bring him aboard!” Former bassist Jimmy Grant left Psychostick in December 2009 for undisclosed reasons.

Best known for the song “Beer Is Good…. And Stuff,” Psychostick spent much of 2009 on tour promoting their latest album, “Sandwich.” The band released a video for “Girl Directions” in December 2009. Plans for after the Parental Advisory Tour are simple – more touring. Here are the latest Psychostick tour dates:

Psychostick only:
