Devious Reveals "Vision" Cover Art

Hengelo, Netherlands-based death/thrash quintet DEVIOUS will release its third full-length album, "Vision", on August 31 via Deity Down Records. The follow-up to 2007's "Domain" is being engineered by Frank Klein Douwel and is scheduled to be mixed by producer Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES) at the Split Second Sound studios, Netherlands. Devious Recording New Album, "Vision"

DEVIOUS recently commenced recording their new full-length album “Vision,” to be released by DEITY DOWN RECORDS. “Vision” succeeds the band’s critically acclaimed works “Acts of Rage” (Spitzenburg Records 2003) and “Domain” (Deity Down Records 2007). The recordings will be engineered by Frank Klein Douwel and mixed by producer Jochem Jacobs (Textures) at the Split Second Sound studios, Netherlands.

Due to the departure of long time bass player SVEN VAN TOORN, the current DEVIOUS line-up consists of:

GUIDO DE JONGH (Founding member, Guitars)
FRANK SCHILPEROORT (Founding member, Drums)
ARNOLD OUDE MIDDENDORP (Vocals)
WOUTER HUITEMA (Guitars)
DANIEL CENTIAGO (Bass)

The release of “VISION” is planned for late August 2009. The exact date will be announced shortly.

Hatred Parts with Deity Down Records

HATRED have been released from Deity Down Records' roster for undisclosed reasons.

In more positive label news, they are currently in the process of wrapping up agreements with new bands (one Italian, one Dutch) with expected releases around summer of 2009. Press statements on these matters are expected around the end of November.

In more label news, new albums by VERMIN and DEVIOUS are taking a little longer than expected, and are expected to be released around the beginning of the second quarter of 2009.

Devious Renews Contract, Begins Writing New Album

This summer, Dutch death/thrash metal band DEVIOUS will go into writing mode in order to create their third full-length and successor to the critically acclaimed "DOMAIN" (2007) and "ACTS OF RAGE" (2003) albums. This streak of productivity will be released through DEITY DOWN RECORDS in 2009, with whom the band have renewed their contract. The band will record with the original "ACTS OF RAGE" line-up.

Devious Sign With Deity Down Records

Dutch technical death/thrash metal Machine DEVIOUS joins forces with DEITY DOWN RECORDS.

The release of the long awaited new album "DOMAIN", successor to "Acts of Rage" (Spitzenburg Records, 2003) will be celebrated at "Metropool" in Hengelo, Netherlands on Thursday Februari 1st of 2007. During the release party (count on a few surprises during the event), "DOMAIN" will be available at a special, high discount price.

DEITY DOWN RECORDS' long time only band VERMIN welcome DEVIOUS as their labelmates. All parties involved are looking forward to a fruitful cooperation.
