Sigh Confirmed For Blastfest 2017

In the heart of winter, in the shadows of the mountains, and in one of the cities most renowned for metal and beauty in the world, Blastfest takes place next February in Bergen, Norway.

The four day festival runs from the 22nd to 25th of February 2017, and following the booting of Peste Noire and Horna from the bill, there has been a steady stream of band announcements for the next edition of the festival.

2017's Blastfest will include a heavy set from Devin Townsend Project, an exclusive "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered" set from Marduk, appearances from Memoriam, Between The Buried & Me, Dying Fetus, Hell, Akercocke and the world debut performance of Phil Anselmo’s new Scour project.

Kronos Posts Entire Album Online

Featuring continuous references to the gods of ancient civilizations, the French battering ensemble Kronos is set to deploy new full-length, "Arisen New Era" this week via Unique Leader Records. Today you can stream the full release below.

Kronos Releasing "Arisen New Era"

Unique Leader Records confirms July 24th as the ominous date that French death metal legion Kronos will drop the "Arisen New Era" long player upon the masses.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by David Potvin at Dome Studios (Lyzanxia, Arcania, Under The Abyss etc.) in Angers, France, the band's latest slab of audio menace features nine scalding tracks of unrelenting barbarity adorned in the distinctive cover art of Pierre Alain (Withering Soul, Silentlie, Cyrax). Kronos Inks Deal With Unique Leader

Kronos Sign To Neurotic Records

KRONOS, a death metal quintet hailing from France, influenced by Greek mythology, has signed to Neurotic Records. The band expects to deliver their first album for the label in 2009.

Ruud Lemmen of Neurotic Records commented: “It will be great to work with KRONOS. This band have impressed us for awhile now, and this seems like a great band to develop as much as possible.”

Mike Saccoman of KRONOS (drums) adds: “We are very proud and honoured to sign to a record company such as Neurotic Record. For us, this is simply the best European death metal label which houses a lot of amazing bands! Kronos, Benighted and Fatal To Tour France

French Brutal Death Metal band KRONOS will team up with fellow French metallers BENIGHTED and FATAL for a tour of France between October 27 and November 4, 2007. KRONOS is currently searching for gigs to book the tour. Interested parties can contact Gab at benightedmanagement@orange.fr .

KRONOS' third album, "The Hellenic Terror", has just been released via Xtreem Music. The follow-up to 2004's "Colossal Titan Strife" was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland and is said to be "a mythological concept album talking about the creatures of the ancient Greece".
