DARKEST HOUR and TURMOIL are among the bands that have been confirmed for Gator's Aftermath, a one-day festival set to take place Friday, July 1 at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Tickets are $15 in advance (etix.com) or $20 the day of the show (with the purchase of a Sounds of the Underground ticket and $25 the day of without a Sounds of the Underground ticket).
For those who are out of town and attend the Sounds of the Underground, the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds are allowing camping overnight. So you can go rock the hell out at Sounds of the Underground, get a good night's sleep, and go directly across the street to Ziggy's the next day. There will be water connections for RVs and bathrooms with showers.
The tentative listing of tour dates for the ON BROKEN WINGS, FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW, REFLUX, & ION DISSONANCE tour have been revealed. Updates with venue information will be released as soon as they are made available. On Broken Wings will be playing new material from their new CD, "It's All a Long Goodbye," which hits stores on June 21, 2005.

On Broken Wings have finished tracking their next album for Eulogy Recordings, "It's All Just A Long Goodbye." Mixing began earlier this week and should be done within the next few days. Here's a statement from the band:
"It sounds fucking heavy and is a million times better recorded than our 'Some of Us May Never See the World' CD. We're all wicked excited about it and can't wait for that shit to come out."

Boston's On Broken Wings are currently writing songs for their next, as-of-yet untitled full-length. The group will enter Big Blue Meenie Recording Studios in February to record the effort, which should hit stores in late-Spring/early-Summer through Eulogy Recordings. In related news, the band's self-released, debut CD, "Number One Beautiful," will be re-released this summer.
