Hacride Issues Recording Update For "Lazarus"

French death metal band Hacride has issued the following recording update:

"HACRIDE are putting the final touches to their highly anticipated follow up to 'Amoeba' entitled 'Lazarus' which is being released by Listenable Records this spring worldwide.

"Bass player Ben had the following to say about the recording process and the material of 'Lazarus': “To record at such a well equipped studio as the Loko studio allowed us to go really far in all our production desires for 'Lazarus'. Frank Hueso, who has been producing the band since our inception be it at recordings or in a live situation, really knew how to fill in all our expectations and surpassed by far even all our hopes with this new recording. We are more than thrilled about this new album which represents a huge leap forward for the band. Every bit of passion we have for HACRIDE is poured into this record and we hope the fans will enjoy it. The new album will contain 7 tracks for a total play length of one hour, one track going over 15 minutes which really demonstrates all the hard work that went into the writing of 'Lazarus'. Amoeba fans will not be disappointed because this is a logical step in the evolution of HACRIDE. This being said, we cannot wait to unleash the storm upon the masses and start destroying stages all over Europe!!!”

"Expect 'Lazarus' to be the most solid and mature album from the progressive metal machine HACRIDE, which already made many heads turn with their previous record 'Amoeba', while this is just the beginning, LAZARUS will once and for all show the enormous potential the band has."

Hacride Mastering New Album

French metallers HACRIDE have issued the following update:

"The new album is finished! We have recorded all parts and we're getting ready to master it all. Our live engineer Franck Hueso has done wonders on our sound, he really captured our artists intentions so well. The production will blow you away!

We also did a raging cover of Spain's modern flamenco stars OJOS DE BRUJO: www.ojosdebrujo.com. Its mastering will take place at L'Autre Studio in France with engineer Jean-Pierre Bouquet. Displaying 10 tracks, expect something very fresh and innovative think progressive polyrythmic metal a la MESHUGGAH, TEXTURES, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, mixed with flamenco and slight death/ black metal influences, all wrapped up in a massive chunky sound!"

The album will be entitled Amoeba and will come out in early 2007. The tracklist is as follows: 'Perturbed', 'Fate', 'Vision Of Hate', 'Zambra' (cover Ojos De Brujo), 'Liquid', 'Cycle', 'Digged Of Soul', 'Strength', 'Ultima Necat', 'On The Threshold Of Death'.
