Converge Posts New Album Online
Hardcore metal outfit Converge has posted their brand new studio album, "Axe To Fall" online. You can check out the record in full by heading over to the bands official Myspace page. The album will be released on October 20th through Epitaph Records and will be the bands first stuio album since 2006's, "No Heroes."
Converge's "Axe To Fall" NYC Listening Party
The Arrow Bar in New York City will be hosting an "Axe To Fall" listening party on October 16th. They'll be playing the new Converge record during Metal Happy Hour and throughout the rest of the night, prior to its October 20th release. Here's the info:

As previously reported, the soundtrack available everywhere October 20 features new and unreleased music from Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Suicide Silence, Shadows Fall, Mushroomhead, Converge, It Dies Today, Kittie, Chimaira, Every Time I Die, and more more.

In preparation for the release of their new album, "Axe To Fall," on October 20, Converge has debuted the title track from their forthcoming release on SPIN.com and have launched a pre-order e-store for 2009's most anticipated hardcore-metal album.
In August, Converge released the first track from "Axe To Fall," "Dark Horse."

Saw VI Soundtrack Final Lineup Revealed
The line-up and tracklisting for the Saw VI soundtrack has been revealed. The soundtrack features brand new and unreleased music from Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Suicide Silence, Shadows Fall, Mushroomhead, Converge, It Dies Today, Kittie, Chimaira, Every Time I Die, and more.
The Saw VI soundtrack will be available October 20, 2009. The official website and pre-order has been launched at saw6soundtrack.com.
In Saw VI, Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.
Trustkill's Josh Grabelle said, "We are stoked about this soundtrack as we've managed to place songs from some of the most exciting hard rock and metal bands in the scene on this one. We are all huge fans of the Saw movies and are ready to knock this one out of the park!"
