Trinity Records has issued the following announcement about re-issuing the Rudra album "The Aryan Crusade" with two extra bonus tracks:
"To those who are searching for older albums of Rudra, now is your time to rejoice, because we will be re-issuing their long out of print album, ‘The Aryan Crusade’. And to make it ever more exciting and even worthy for a second buy to those who already have a copy of it, we will be including two exclusive bonus tracks on it. One is a cover of Death’s ‘Forgotten Past’ and the other one is an original entitled ‘Crucifixation’.
"‘The Aryan Crusade’ was Rudra’s sophomore full length album and was originally released on 2001. The controversial title allowed the band to make inroads in using authentic vedic etymology to destroy people’s imaginations of many Vedic words. In the process the album broke new grounds, both lyrically and musically, which won them attention from all parts of the metal world. With many good reviews, this album created a cult following for the band not just in Asia but in other parts of the world as well. In fact, many fans would swear that this is INDEED the definitive VEDIC METAL album."

Singapore based metal band Rudra has issued the following announcement about canceling their upcoming show in Hong Kong:
"To the organiser, Hong Kong metalheads and fans of Rudra:
"It is with extreme regret that we, Rudra, had to cancel the concert appearance at Hong Kong scheduled for 11th July 2009 due to the outbreak of the influenza A(H1N1) virus. The number of cases reported in Singapore has been increasing by the day and is travel related. Although there is currently no travel restrictions advised by the World Health Organisation and the local Health Authorities, we were compelled to make this decision in view of the serious implications in the event of an infection. Everyone in the band was looking forward to the show and we were fully prepared to give one of our best shows. It is in our immediate plans to play in Hong Kong as soon as possible when the situation improves. Please accept our humble apologies and we look forward to being with you soon."

"It is with great pleasure that I am announcing the entry of our new guitarist, Vinod. He isn't someone new to Rudra or the Singaporean metal scene. Vinod has played in many bands before and has been known to us for almost 8 years. We are looking forward to writing the new album and touring with him." - Rudra bassist/vocalist Kathir.
Says Vinod, "It is truly an honour to be chosen and be part of Rudra, a pioneer metal band. The first extreme metal band I listened to that inspired me and made me believe it is possible for local Singaporeans to start a band and be successful. I've known the members for a while. And now being in the band, I'm excited to work with them. Thus looking forward to contribute my part in the upcoming albums."
