The official listing of dates and cities during the tour has not yet been announced.
Blistering Metal News has issued the following report that Emmure may have parted ways with their drummer and guitar player:
The rumors that both Emmure guitarist Ben Lionetti and drummer Joe Lionetti exited the group over the weekend continue to persist. Sources close to the band still affirm that the pair have in fact left the band on less than friendly terms. While unconfirmed officially, Aaron Brooks of The Ghost Inside is said to have been tapped to temporarily fill-in on guitar for the group, while a family member of Emmure guitarist Jesse Ketive will be sitting in on drums. No shows are expected to be missed. However, despite these arrangements and words to the contrary, the bands management have stated that the siblings only left the tour to attend to a 'family emergency'.
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will introduce an additional stage this year dedicated to up and coming bands.
The third stage, sponsored by Deathcote Records, will be located at Chasers Nightclub, located behind the Palladium on the corner of Martin Luther King and Commercial streets. The main festival will be taking place at the Palladium.
“There are so many great bands and not enough time to get all of them on during the course of two days,” said festival co-organizer Sott Lee. “Adding a third stage is a great way for us to showcase some of the developing bands and it’s a terrific opportunity for these bands to play alongside some of today’s top metal and hardcore bands.”
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will take place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, with the Atticus pre-party on Thursday, April 16. This year’s event is presented by Randall Amplifiers, Washburn Guitars and Eden Electronics. Metal Blade Records will present the main stage. Prosthetic Records will present the second stage.
The Atticus-sponsored pre-party will be a unique event that will be combining film and music, kicking off with a screening of official film sponsor Anchor Bay's film "Crowley," co-written by none other than Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson. The provocative supernatural thriller is the tale of a virtual reality experiment gone wrong, sending the soul of the British occultist Aleister Crowley into the body of a shy university professor. But even as Crowley creates all-new orgies of depraved pleasures and black magic, he is now preparing to unleash the ultimate occult event upon the world. Also showing is "Anvil! The Story of Anvil," a sometimes revealing, sometimes hilarious documentary about the legendary Canadian metal band. The movie follows best friends Robb Reiner and Lips as they make a pact to rock together forever. Their band, Anvil, hailed as the "demi-gods of Canadian metal, " influenced a musical generation that includes Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, despite never hitting the big time. Following a calamitous European tour, Lips and Robb, now in their fifties, set off to record their 13th album in one last attempt to fulfill their boyhood dreams. The film will be followed by a performance by the band itself. The pre-party will also be held at the Palladium. Admission is free with a weekend pass or $15 for non-ticket holders.
Prices this year are $40 for Friday, $45 for Saturday or $79 for a 2-day ticket that also includes free admission to the kick off party on Thursday. Tickets are available at all Strawberries, FYE Stores, online at tickets.com or by calling (800) 477-6849. Tickets are available now.

Scott Vogel of Los Angeles hardcore/thrash metal band Terror has just summed up what's happened to them in 2008 and has announced what has happened so far in 2009.
"First, just wanted to thank everyone that made '08 another great year for Terror. We got to travel the world, put out a new record that I really believe may be our best and of course do a lot of hanging out and laughing."
"So I'm sure if you follow the band that you see we've had some line-up changes again. Buske leaving the band and David Wood stepping in on bass is semi old news but still news. David is a perfect fit for us. We wanted someone with youth and energy and we got exactly what we asked for. Buske has still been helping out the band however he can and was even spotted in the pit at our show in NYC for 'Betrayer' I believe. More...

Unearth guitarist Buz McGrath has issued the following statement:
"Greetings All, I just wanted to take this opportunity to explain my absence from the upcoming UNEARTH tour with Emmure, Impending Doom, and Born of Osiris.
My wife and I are in the process of adopting a baby, and currently we are overseas taking the final steps to begin our new roles as parents. Not to worry though, as filling in for me will be the extremely capable hands of Emil Werstler of DAATH fame. He is also know in some circles as SHREDDY KRUEGER, so be sure to peep his skills.
This line up of bands is beyond sick, so do what you gotta do to get to the show!! I will be back soon to resume my duties in UNEARTH, shredding like a chimpanzee on angel dust."
Unearth front man Trevor Phipps had this to add: "Everyone can rest assured that we will be playing a full set throughout the "Fuck School, Fuck Work, Let's Rage! Tour". We are lucky enough to have the services of Emil Werstler, so we won't miss a beat. All of us in Unearth want to congratulate Buz and Dawn on their family addition. "
Unearth will headline the Massachusetts Winter Meltdown Fest on January 31st, 2009 with guests Every Time I Die, Sick of It All, Emmure, Since the Flood (original line-up), Impending Doom, and Born of Osiris.
Unearth frontman Trevor Phipps comments: "We wanted our first home state show in a year and a half to be a rager so we combined our January tour with our friends in Every Time I Die, Sick of It All and the original Since the Flood line up to melt your faces off. This will be the last show of our North American tour and our first show in Worcester in almost two years, so it is sure to be a party. See you there."
Doors open at 5:30 PM and admission is $20.
