Five More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2011
The organizers of Belgium's largest heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced that Black Label Society, Kreator, Duff McKagen's Loaded, Monster Magnet, and Legion Of The Damned have all been confirmed to play at the festival, which will take place in the town of Dessel from June 24th -26th. The lineup is now as follows:

Powerglove Announces New Tour Dates
Powerglove has announced new 2011 tour dates with Symphony X, Nevermore, Soilwork, and Blackguard as well as a couple of festival dates. Tour dates follow.

Shadowside Announces Guest Musicians
Brazil's Shadowside has issued the following announcement about guest musicians from Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork, and Dream Evil appearing on the band's upcoming album:
"We have great news to share! Shadowside recently received three very special guests in the studio. Singers Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn 'Speed' Strid (Soilwork) and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil) have been at Fredman Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, to record their performances on 'Inner Monster Out,' song that is going to be on the track list of the band's new album.
"At this moment, we have just finishing all recordings and are finishing touching up the last details on the third album. In charge of the production is Fredrik Nordström, one of the most important Rock/Metal producers nowadays. Record label SHP Records, distributed by Universal Music, has scheduled the release date for June 7th.
"We have uploaded videos from the recording process on YouTube and more will be available in the upcoming days. Visit this location to view them! See you all soon."

Cavalera Conspiracy Confirmed For Graspop 2011
The organizers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival have announced that Cavalera Conspiracy, the band featuring Sepultura founders Igor and Max Cavalera, have been confirmed for the event. Also added to the bill is Russian folk metal band Arkona. Neither band's performance date has been confirmed as of yet however. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 24th-26th.

Sweden's Soilwork has posted the sixth part of the band's North American tour diary online, which can be seen in the two video clips below.
Soilwork Member To Take Part In Symphony Show
Bjorn Strid, Guitarist of Swedish melodic death metak act Soilwork, will participate in the third annual "Winter Metal Symphony" show, formerly "Christmas Metal Symphony." The event is set to take place January 22, 2011 at 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The singers will be backed by a six-piece band and a 30-piece classical orchestra as they perform classic heavy metal and hard rock songs. This unique show will contain "songs from all metal genres — from prog-metal to rock, from death to speed and from industrial to symphonic." The show also features members of Death Angel, Revamp and Pagan's Mind.

Swedish melodic metallers Soilwork have posted a new video clip online, documenting the band's recent tour throughout North America. The footage was filmed and edited by Tommy Jones and taken during the band's recent North American headlining tour. Soilwork are currently on tour to promote its 2010 release "The Panic Broadcast."
