Behind Crimson Eyes Posts Teaser For New Music

Legendary Australian heavy outfit Behind Crimson Eyes is teasing new music and a new era in the the band's career, which has already spanned over a decade.

The 5-piece Melbourne, Victoria crew, who began in 2004, have had a seriously illustrious existence -- BCE, as the band is affectionately known, has released 2 EPs via Boomtown Records and 2 full-length records via Roadrunner Records, sold out multiple national headline tours, performed at Triple J's One Night Stand, toured with Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, Disturbed and Iron Maiden, and graced the stage of every major Australian music festival including Taste Of Chaos, Pyramid Rock Festival, Bass in the Dust, Bass in the Grass, Homebake Festival, Soundwave and Big Day Out.

However, after several years on hiatus, BCE finally returned to active status early this year -- firstly by touring nationally with Alexisonfire, and secondly by teasing new music entitled "Stardust" via a new website over here - which is counting down to November 3rd. The latter promises to be the most profound and exciting project BCE has ever embarked on, the culmination of which will be on display in January 2018 at the Unify Gathering 2018.

Disturbed Announces Australian, New Zealand Tour

Disturbed will be returning to Australia and New Zealand in support of their latest effort, "Indestructible." Joining them on tour will be P.O.D. (except for the Perth and Adelaide shows), Alter Bridge, Behind Crimson Eyes (Australian shows only) and Redline (New Zealand shows only).

Having been around for 12 years and selling more than 10 million albums worldwide, "Indestructable" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard, ARIA and RIANZ charts locally.

P.O.D is supporting their newest release, "When Angels and Serpents Dance."

Tickets for the following tour dates go on sale Thursday, July 10th.

Iron Maiden Reveal Aussie Tour Support Details

On the eve of the highly anticipated Australian leg of the Iron Maiden world tour, which will see the band play sold out arena shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in February, the support acts have been announced.

Legendary local metal band VANISHING POINT is confirmed as support on the Perth and Melbourne Iron Maiden shows. The band has produced four critically acclaimed releases and accolades too numerous to mention in a career spanning more than a decade. Consisting of five like-minded, yet distinct individuals, the members of Vanishing Point are among the elite who push boundaries, erase labels and dismantle the preconceptions of what a heavy metal band should be.

BEHIND CRIMSON EYES is support on the Sydney and Brisbane Iron Maiden shows. Sine 2005 the band has released two EPs and late last year they released their debut album A Revelation For Despair. The band has a massive following in Australia are primed to showcase their new album which is definitely the heaviest the band has ever sounded.

New UK artist LAUREN HARRIS and her band have been announced as the opening act on all Australian Iron Maiden dates. Twenty one year old Lauren Harris is the oldest daughter of Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris. Laura literally grew up on music and Maiden tours so it was only natural that she wanted make her own mark as an artist. She had just started singing in London's pubs when legendary British producer writer-artist Russ Ballard noticed her one night and hired her as the female voice for the new material he was writing. With the confidence this gave her she put a band together and over the last couple of years she has been touring extensively with Maiden and with other bands including WITHIN TEMPTATION and THUNDER, working on material and then recording between tours. It is expected that her debut album, full details of which will be announced soon, will be available online and at the shows for the start of the tour. The newest Australian signing to Roadrunner unveil their debut album for your listening pleasure. Slated for release on Saturday November 18th, the album will be available for streaming for the next week.

Behind Crimson Eyes Sign To Roadrunner Australia

Roadrunner Records Australia has announced the signing of Melbourne's Behind Crimson Eyes.

Jon Satterley, MD of Roadrunner Australia, enthused:

"Thought-provoking, aggressive, experimental, independent?.Behind Crimson Eyes have demonstrated over the past 2 years that their unique and personal brand of emo-tinged heavy rock is light years ahead of the rest of the Australian scene. We are privileged to have this exciting band join Roadrunner's international roster."

Prior to signing, Behind Crimson Eyes have been instrumental in their own successes, which have included:

-The Art Of War debuted at number 17 on the Australasian Aria charts
-The Art Of War debuted at Number 1 on the last ever Triple J Net 50 program
The band played the main stage of the Melbourne Taste Of Chaos at Rod Laver Arena last year

Josh Stuart, BCE vocalist, on the signing to Roadrunner:

"We don't have to compromise our values for them to market our music. They are of the school of thought that the band makes the music and the label does the marketing. So they basically told us to make whatever record we want. And this is what we've done."

Behind Crimson Eyes are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album, recorded at Sing Sing studios Melbourne and produced by Richard Stolz (also producer of the band's former EPs).
