Godhate To Use Session Bassist On European Tour

Bassist Clabbe Ramberg will be unable to join Swedish death metallers Godhate (formerly Throneaeon) on their upcoming European tour with Benediction and Nominon. Clabbe "has now been suffering from serious ache in his back for more than five weeks and there was nothing he could do to recover soon enough," reads a post on the group's web site. "Luckily enough Andreas Dalström, [who played] bass [for the group] between 1994 and 2002, will be joining for the tour."

The "Thunderstom Over Europe Tour - Part 2", featuring Benediction, Godhate and Nominon, is scheduled to kick off September 17 in Berlin, Germany. A complete list of tour dates can be found at this location.

Godhate Replace Bassist

Swedish death metallers GODHATE (formerly THRONEAEON) have replaced bassist Magnus Wall with long-time friend Clabbe Ramberg. "It feels like a great step forward for us as he has the right attitude and spirit along with his talents that we were looking for," the band write on their web site.

GODHATE recently put the release of their self-titled debut "on hold" while they are exploring all available options for a new record deal. The CD, which was recorded under the band's previous moniker, contains "furious, blasphemous and uncompromising death metal in the vein of SLAYER, DEICIDE and MORBID ANGEL with a touch of the early Swedish style," according to the group. "Very well produced, with a powerful yet unique sound," the album features a guest appearance by drummer Matte Modin of DARK FUNERAL.
