Bullet For My Valentine will kick off their 2008 headlining tour on Tuesday, July 14 at the Rave in Milwaukee, WI. The dates are in support of the band's latest album "Scream Aim Fire," which debuted at #4 in the U.S. and simultaneously in the Top 5 in the UK, Australia, Germany and Japan.
Sponsored by the No Fear clothing company, the first leg of Bullet For My Valentine's North American tour will run to mid-August (dates below); the second leg will run throughout September, with dates to be announced shortly. Joining Bullet For My Valentine for the tour will be Bleeding Through and on select dates, Cancer Bats and Black Tide. A "fan club presale" begins tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28 (check here for more info), while tickets go on sale to the general public the following weekend.

In March / April of 2006 Parkway Drive embarked on a 30 date national all ages tour, aptly titled the All Ages Assault Tour, passing through regional cities and towns which seldom get touring bands.
February 2008 will see them return with the same approach on the Surf Rat Tour, again all shows will be all ages. The tour will be rippin’ through the likes of Cooma, Wangaratta, Wagga Wagga, Sutherland, Coffs Harbour, Townsville and many more as well as an appearance at the MS Fest in Tasmania. This Is Hell has confirmed plans to put out two 7" releases this winter. The group will release an EP titled "Cripplers" through Trustkill Records on November 20th. The effort will feature six-songs: a new track, three covers, and two previously-unreleased songs. Meanwhile, the band will also put out a split 7" with Cancer Bats via Future Tense Records. The untitled split will consist of a new song from each band, in addition to a cover of each group by the other.
The latest incarnation of Europe's "Never Say Die! Tour" will hit the road in November and will feature Comeback Kid, The Warriors, Parkway Drive, Cancer Bats, and This Is Hell. Here are the dates:

Future Tense Records has announced plans to release a new split 7-inch featuring This Is Hell and Cancer Bats. The as-yet untitled split will have each band covering a track from the other. and a brand new song apiece.
This Is Hell recently released their Trustkill debut, Sundowning while Cancer Bats will be re-releasing their Canada-only album, Birthing the Giant in the US via Abacus.
Officially joining Abacus Recordings is Canadian band Cancer Bats. According to Abacus, "Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion." Formed in 2004, the band will release their debut album, titled "Birthing The Giant," on September 5th. The effort was produced by Gavin Brown (Billy Talent).
