Stream Torche's "Songs For Singles" Album Online

You can now listen to the new Torche record, "Songs For Singles," in its entirety on their MySpace player through Monday. The album hits stores Tuesday, September 21st. You can preorder your copy here.

As previously reported, the compilation features eight previously released songs and is to be issued through Hyrda Head Records.

Corrosion Of Conformity To Play Riot Fest

Raleigh, North Carolina's Corrosion Of Conformity have announced their participation in the upcoming 2010 edition of Riot Fest Chicago. The formerly all punk festival has now opened it's doors to include metal and hard rock acts and in turn expanding the festival to a four day event. Riot Fest Chicago 2010 in set to take place October 6th through 10th in various venues throughout the city.

Other metal acts scheduled to appear include a reformed Corrosion Of Conformity, Torche, Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front and Kylesa. The event is being headlined by underground punk rock icons Bad Religion.

Torche Announces U.S Dates With Various Bands

Torche have announced a series of concerts set to take place across the United States in support of their upcoming compilation album titled "Songs For Singles." The tour kicks off on July 17th, 2010 in West Palm Beach, Florida and runs until October 29th ending in Gainesville, Florida. More dates are also expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Boris Announces Show With Torche

As part of the previously announced North American Boris tour this Summer, the band has confirmed an appearance as part of the ongoing Blackened Music Series, playing a one-off show alongside Torche at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York.

Taking place on Friday, August 6th, this is the only planned concert featuring both Boris and Torche, celebrating their upcoming split release together (Hydrahead/Daymare). Also on the bill will be Russian Circles, who are joining Boris on the first half of the upcoming tour.

Dark Castle Announces European Tour Dates

Florida doom metal band DARK CASTLE will be performing at this year's SXSW, as the band will take part in showcases sponsored by 20 Buck Spin/Profound Lore, BrooklynVegan, Chronic Youth and more.

DARK CASTLE have also secured a supporting slot on Kylesa's Spring European tour, which plows through France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, Finland and Norway, with appearances at several festivals including Metalorgie (France), Impetus (Switzerland) and Asymetry Festival (Poland). Mastodon Posts New Song, "Divinations," Online

Atlanta hard rockers, MASTODON, have revealed a brand new song, "Divinations," from their new studio album, "CRACK THE SKYE." The single can be heard here and will be available digitally from iTunes and all other participating digital retailers.

MASTODON has also been confirmed as headliners of the Scion Rock Fest in their hometown of Atlanta, GA on Saturday, Feb 28th, at the Masquerade. Other artists confirmed to appear include Neurosis, High On Fire, Boris, Torche and many others. The event will run from Noon to midnight.

Torche Parts ways with Guitarist Juan Montoya

TORCHE has parted ways with guitarist Juan Montoya. In a statement prepared by Juan, he had this to say:

"The ATP/Nightmare Before Christmas show on December 5, 2008, will be my final show with TORCHE. I’m very proud of the music we have created together over the past 4 years. I have been blessed to?tour the world and meet amazing?people and will be seeing you all soon enough. Coliseum's SXSW Performance Footage Posted Online

COLISEUM’s performance from this year’s South By Southwest music festival has recently been posted online courtesy of MetalKult.com. This five-song set from the Relapse Records SXSW showcase can be viewed now at this location.

COLISEUM is currently on tour along the west coast with TORCHE and CLOUDS. The Louisville, KY three-piece will perform a special election night show in Los Angeles, CA this evening before flying to Japan with TORCHE for a brief tour together.
