The Everscathed Streaming New Album Samples

Chicago, Illinois based death metal act The Everscathed has announced the new album "Still Screaming World" is set to be released as a limited edition CD and via digital download on November 9th, 2010. The band is also now streaming 30 second sample tracks from the album online via The Everscathed's MySpace page.

Open Grave Signs US Distro Deal w/ Oarfin

Open Grave Records has announced that they have inked an exclusive US distribution deal with OarFin Distribution. OarFin Distribution is a National Distributor that deals with national and independent music store chains as well as online retailers, as well as other distributors and key independent stores.

Owner of Open Grave Records, James Mattern is quoted saying, “Everyone at Open Grave Records is really pleased about this partnership with OarFin. With this deal in place we will be better able to get our products into the hands of the fans. This will also give every artist that is a part of Open Grave Records the opportunity to grow”.

The first releases that are being made available nationwide will:

The Everscathed Announce Release Date, Tracklist

Open Grave Records has set a release date of July 11th 2006 for the release of Chicago, IL old school death metal band The Everscathed's full length album, "Razors of Unrest". The Everscathed is made up of: W. Frickenstein - Vocals, Bass (Unsolemn, ex-Enmortem), Brice Dalzell - Guitar, Vocals (ex-CorpseVomit (US), ex-Enmortem), and Tim Frickenstein - Drums (Unsolemn, ex-Enmortem). The cover art can be viewed online here, and a high quality mp3 of the track, "Shackled by Failure" can be downloaded here.

Open Grave Records Signs Two New Bands

Open Grave Records has recently signed two new bands. First up is Victorville, California's Clouds Turned Black. Formed in 2002, the band has been active playing shows all over Southern California, sharing the stage with bands like Curl Up and Die, Bury Your Dead, Scars of Tomorrow, Beauty to Ashes and countless others. Things didn't really take off until 2005 when the group decided to make music a lifestyle instead of a hobby. With new passion Clouds Turned Black was able to deliver their most mature release to date. You can check out some sample tracks can be found on Clouds Turned Black's MySpace page.

Clouds Turned Black is currently in the process of writing new material for their debut full-length album due late fall 2006 on Open Grave Records.

Chicago, IL based The Everscathed was also just signed to Open Grave records late last week. The Everscathed is made up by Bill Frickenstein (Formally of Enmortem) on vocals and bass, Brice Dalzell (Formally of Corpsevomit) on guitar and vocals, and Tim Frickenstein (Formally of Enmortem) rounding things out on drums. THE EVERSCATHED are no strangers to the death metal scene with all members being involved in various projects since the mid 1990's, and having release numerous demos under the name Enmortem. In early 2003 the band was put on hiatus due to injuries to both Brice and a little later on Bill. The Everscathed are back in 2006 and ready to release their most brutal and relentless recording, "Razors of Unrest". "Razors of Unrest" will see a late summer release on Open Grave Records.
