Dark Arena Issues Album Update

Dark Arena has launched a new website at this location, which includes free songs for download as well as links to buy physical releases from the band. The band also commented on working on a new album:

"We are currently in the studio finishing up the new CD as soon as Juan completes the vocals I will be posting a complete track listing for the new CD. Right now I can tell you a few of the for sure song titles in no particular order 'The last temptation,' 'Sever,' 'Pretenders to the thrown,' 'Father evil,' 'Lost in shadow land,' and 'Mountains in the sky.'

"The only thing I will say right now is it will be a limited run double CD. Disk 1 being all NEW songs and Disk 2 being all the songs that DID NOT make the other CDs along with some newly recorded cover songs. 2 of the cover songs have already been released on our YouTube page here. They are 'Sails of Charon' by the Scorpions and 'Lack of Comprehension' by Death. We also did a cover of 'Red sharks' by Crimson Glory but you will have to wait till the CD comes out to check that one out."

Dark Arena Finishes Recording New Album

Dark Arena has issued the following announcement about finishing their new album "Flowingblack:"

"After many trials and tribulations the sophomore release from Dark Arena is finally complete. Flowingblack containing 11 tracks of dark power-metal will be available to the public in late October. New line-up: Juan Ricardo (Vocals), Paul Konjicija (Guitars), Chris Stolle (Drums), Ryan Tyndal (Bass), Ron George (Keys), and Allan Marcus (Guitars)."

Dark Arena Parts Ways With Guitarist

Cleveland's Dark Arena has issued the following statement about parting ways with their guitarist:

"Due to family and work obligations Dale Robertson is no longer a member of the band. His work with the band will be missed, but the new material features his brilliance. So fans rejoice in hearing his playing on the next 2 Dark Arena releases!!"

Dark Arena Readies Debut Album For Release

Dark Arena's debut disc, titled Alien Factor will be released on May 26th at the Great Lakes Metal Fest at the Cleveland Agora in Cleveland, OH. Dark Arena is vocalist Juan Ricardo (Attaxe, Ritual), guitarists "Tall" Paul Konjicija (Antithesis, Ritual) and Dale Robertson (Roadie's Nightmare), keyboardist Rhiannon Wisniewski (Somnus), drummer Chris Stolle (Somnus), and bassist Brian Glodde (Antithesis, Rick Renstrom).

The cover art was created by Joseph Vargo at Monolith Graphics and can be seen here. More information, along with three full songs from the upcoming release can be heard at www.darkarena.cc.
