Job For A Cowboy has issued the following road report:
"Charn from Job for a Cowboy here checking in and filling everyone in on what's shaking in the Job for a Cowboy camp these day. Quite a lot has been happening with us these days, what with touring with Lamb of God, Gwar, and the Red Chord along with a seemingly endless run of bad luck with our transportation, which I will get to later.
"Anyway, lets start off with a positive note. We were lucky enough to have all of our family issues resolved by October 26th and came back on tour with our first show being in Buffalo, NY. Super excited about being there a day early we decided to go to the place where Buffalo Wings supposedly originated a restaurant/bar called the Anchor Bar. Needless to say the food was delicious, the beer was flowing and the flat screen televisions were aplenty. After Al, Thomas (our bus driver) and myself ate there when we arrived in buffalo at the bus station we were off to pick up the rest of the fellows at the airport after they had had numerous flight delays and other things setting them back from entering blustery northeastern New York. With them on the bus we decided to park by the venue and head back down to the Anchor Bar to chow down for one last time that evening. With the exception of a very drunk man yelling at the Phillies on the television and ranting about the Yankees everything was going swimmingly until an obviously drunk man and his wife entered the bar. This is when things got awkward. More...
Job For A Cowboy has issued the following statement about experiencing vehicle problems in Canada:
"We just got back into the states after a few days up in Canada that were INSANE. Our bus broke down leaving us pretty much stranded on the side of the road with no hope of getting to the shows in Toronto and Montreal. Shit outta luck our Tour Manager called the guys in Protest the Hero who came and picked us up and took us and our trailer to the shows. Fuck yeah Protest the Hero, thanks for the rescue! We are stoked to be back in the states for a little bit and especially stoked to be heading towards Texas where the weather is warm and the beers and BBQ are never-ending. See you on the road!"

Boston Massachusetts metal band THE RED CHORD is gearing up for the release of their fourth full length album, entitled "Fed Through the Teeth Machine," due out on October 27th in the US through Metal Blade Records.
Guitarist Mike “Gunface” McKenzie comments on the band’s new album "Fed Through the Teeth Machine," "We spent the last year working hard on this one and we're excited for everyone to finally hear it. It's a lot faster and, in my opinion, more straight forward in a structural sense. We're really happy with the great work Jonny Fay and Zeuss did too. It's not a concept record, but there are some loose conceptual elements to it: hygienic obsession, delusional compound-dwellers and Maniac Mansion. Get ready to make fun of us on the internet!" In a recent interview with UltimateGuitar.com, Job For A Cowboy front man Jonny Davy commented on albums leaking early and his own music downloading habits. An excerpt from the interview is below.
UG: Are you annoyed that 'Ruination' has been leaked through the internet?
Jonny Davy: Leaking happens, so 'Ruination' being leaked is no biggie. I'm an illegal downloader myself, so I can't blame anyone.
UG: Do you endorse illegal downloading then, since you're an illegal downloader?
Jonny Davy: I wouldn't say I endorse illegal downloading. I don't really think illegal downloading affects things too much, especially when you're an underground metal band. Downloading, and finding ways to get albums heard, is almost like the new era of tape trading. I can't complain - I definitely do it myself.
