The Red Chord Reveals New Album Details
Boston Massachusetts metal band THE RED CHORD is gearing up for the release of their fourth full length album, entitled "Fed Through the Teeth Machine," due out on October 27th in the US through Metal Blade Records.
Guitarist Mike “Gunface” McKenzie comments on the band’s new album "Fed Through the Teeth Machine," "We spent the last year working hard on this one and we're excited for everyone to finally hear it. It's a lot faster and, in my opinion, more straight forward in a structural sense. We're really happy with the great work Jonny Fay and Zeuss did too. It's not a concept record, but there are some loose conceptual elements to it: hygienic obsession, delusional compound-dwellers and Maniac Mansion. Get ready to make fun of us on the internet!" Job For A Cowboy Frontman Admits Downloading Music
In a recent interview with UltimateGuitar.com, Job For A Cowboy front man Jonny Davy commented on albums leaking early and his own music downloading habits. An excerpt from the interview is below.
UG: Are you annoyed that 'Ruination' has been leaked through the internet?
Jonny Davy: Leaking happens, so 'Ruination' being leaked is no biggie. I'm an illegal downloader myself, so I can't blame anyone.
UG: Do you endorse illegal downloading then, since you're an illegal downloader?
Jonny Davy: I wouldn't say I endorse illegal downloading. I don't really think illegal downloading affects things too much, especially when you're an underground metal band. Downloading, and finding ways to get albums heard, is almost like the new era of tape trading. I can't complain - I definitely do it myself.

"Award-winning Glendale, AZ heavy music powerhouse, Job For A Cowboy, has completed work on its hotly-anticipated sophomore album, entitled Ruination. The record will see a July 7, 2009 North American release date via Metal Blade Records.
