American modern metal act Devildriver has announced that it will be the featured headliner on the forthcoming 2012 Metal Alliance North American tour. Support on the festival styled tour is set to come from The Faceless, Dying Fetus, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, and Impending Doom. THQ Inc. and Volition, Inc. have now released "Saints Row: The Third" on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The launch trailer has also been posted online and can be viewed here.

Arizona based extreme emetal outfit Job For A Cowboy has announced that the band has finished work on a brand new studio album. The record is expected to be released next year through Metal Blade Records. A message from the band reads as follows:
"The new full length is officially done. Waiting for mixing and mastering within a month. Now... what to call it? Expect big news."

American death metal legends Cannibal Corpse have been confirmed as the headliners for Metal Hammer's, "Destroyers Of The Faith" tour, which will kick off in March. Also on the trek will be Triptykon, Enslaved, and Job For A Cowboy.

"The Hypersleep Dialogues Trek" tour tore its way through North America and part of Canada over the course of a month, moving counter-clockwise from New York and ends up in Asheville, North Carolina tonight. As the name shows, Between The Buried and Me was supporting their new album, "The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues," and they brought a solid lineup to Nashville with them – Job For A Cowboy and The Ocean. On their stop through Rocketown on Friday, May 13th, the bands played to a familiar crowd. Three years earlier, Between The Buried and Me had recorded their show here at Rocketown and released it as a live CD/DVD package – "Colors Live."

The EP, titled "Gloom," will contain four new tracks from the band and is set to hit store shelves on June 7, 2011 through Metal Blade Records. It is without a doubt that the hype and anticipation around the first ever headlining performance from Between the Buried and Me in Vancouver was huge. Having appeared in the city twice before as an opening act, playing only 2 songs in its first appearance and 3 songs the next, the BTBAM faithful were lined up two blocks deep outside the city's Rickshaw Theater hours before showtime, to catch a well deserved full length set. Between the Buried and Me will release a new LP, titled "The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues," on April 12th via Metal Blade Records. The three-song strong, 30 minute release was recorded at Canada's Metalworks Studios and Rattlebox Studios and produced / engineered by the Grammy award-winning David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, King Crimson, Dream Theater, etc.) with the band. Boston, Massachusetts based metal outfit The Red Chord has announced that the band has parted ways with drummer Mike Justian, one of the original members of the group. A message from the band reads as follows:
"We've parted ways with our old friend and original drummer, Mike Justian. It was awesome jamming with him as always and our split is totally mutual. We wish Mike the best!

Job For A Cowboy vocalist Johnny Davy has posted the following update online:
"It felt like a long time since we last got together to write new material. After collaborating in the snow of Boston, we're now recording our second EP. It feels good to be in Florida with Jason, Ron and Eyal of Audiohammer studios. JFAC 2.0 is on the way."
Job For A Cowboy has also reported that the band has entered Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof to record the as-yet-untitled EP. An early Summer release through Metal Blade Records is expected.
