Raise The Red Lantern Announces US Tour Dates

At A Loss Recordings metal band RAISE THE RED LANTERN will hit the road this week on their way to join the later half of the ongoing Translation Loss Records Tour with Battlefields and City of Ships. The band also meet up with Racebannon, Struck By Lightning, Chord and Mouth of the Architect. RAISE THE RED LANTERN tour dates are as follows:

Raise The Red Lantern Posts New Music Online

Chicago metal band RAISE THE RED LANTERN has posted several new tracks from their upcoming debut album, which will be released on October 27th through At A Loss Recordings. The new track, "Seduction Of Slumber," has been posted on their label’s MySpace page. Also check out the three new tracks "Ritual", "Thick As Thieves", and "Deliver, Us/Deliverance" via RAISE THE RED LANTERN’s Myspace page. A preview of the album's digipack layout can also be seen on their MySpace.

The band will be on the road for most of October in advance of the release. The tour dates are as follows:

Raise The Red Lantern Reveals New Album Details

Chicago metal band RAISE THE RED LANTERN has announced that they will be releasing their self-titled full-length through At A Loss Recordings on October 27th. The album was recorded in their hometown by Sanford Parker (Minsk, Nachtmystium).

Javelina Announces US Tour

Philadelphia’s JAVELINA will be embarking on a tour in May in support of their self-titled Translation Loss debut, which is getting rave reviews from the likes of Decibel Magazine, Revolver, Metal Maniacs and countless more.

JAVELINA (pronounced ha-va-lE-na) started crafting their massive sound in October of 2005. Formed by ex-members of Philadelphia bands Lickgoldensky, SMUT and Otophobia/Endless Nightmare they spent over a year honing their sound before playing their first show. JAVELINA’s sound embodies the massive sludgy nature of Buzzoven and Eyehategod with the raw punk intensity of His Hero Is Gone and the straightforward nature of High On Fire all wrapped up into one.

Raise the Red Lantern Records New Material

Chicago, IL's Raise the Red Lantern recently spent some time in the studio with Sanford Parker (Minsk, Buried At Sea) to record three new songs which will be featured on a split record with Richmond, VA's Lord By Fire. The split is set to be released by Richmond's weAREtheLABEL. The first sample song should be available soon at the band's MySpace.

Raise The Red Lantern Record EP

Raise the Red Lantern have finished recording a three-song EP while on tour. The band made a pit stop in Allston, MA to record at Mad Oak Recording Studios with Devin Charette (Rip Roarin', Bury the Needle). The EP will be mastered by Nick Zampiello (Pelican, Cave In) and should hit streets in June via Witch Trial Records. Song titles include: "Thrower of Stones," "Wings of Fury," and "Fucking Temptress."
