Opera IX Reveals New Album Details

Italian black metal act Opera IX will release the new album "Strix Maledictae in Aeternum" on January 24th, 2011. You can check out the album's artwork below, and find a new music video for the track "Mandragora" after the jump. The album was recorded at Occultum Studio in the fall of 2010 and beginning of 2011.

Opera IX Signs To Displeased Records

Italian Black metal band OPERA IX has announced their signing to Displeased Records. The band is currently in Occultum Studios, which is owned by Ossian, recording their sixth album. The new album is scheduled for a release at the end of 2010 and the artwork will created by Kris Verwimp.T The band will be recording until the end of October.

Belphegor Makes First Appearance in Romania

"Metalhead Romania" presents Belphegor, Friday, June 12 in Bucharest, Romania. It is the first time the Polish extreme-metal group plays for the Romanian fans. The band is included in the fourth edition of the Bucharest Metal Nights Festival, along with local legend bands like Taine and Psycho Symphony.

Opening acts confirmed include:

Ticket prices are around 10 euros and the venue is Old School Club. After Opera IX attended the third edition of the festival and almost 900 people came (sold-out event), Romanian metalheads prepare for another storming blast assured by "Metalhead Romania".
