Hallows Eve Recruits New Drummer

Georgia metallers Hallows Eve have issued the following statement about bringing on a new drummer:

"Hello people, Hallows Eve would like to welcome Scooch as our new drummer. Scooch brings many years of experience to the band and will prove to be a core member. Cheers to you, Scooch! Thanks for the on going support everyone. We'll be out soon."

Hallows Eve Added To TMT Metal Fest Lineup

Hallows Eve is the latest act to be confirmed for the 2010 edition of the TMT Metal Fest, which is schedule to take placed from September 24th through 26th in Middletown, NY. Other confirmed acts for the festival include The Misfits, Scum of the Earth, Greene Jelly, Omen, Vicious Rumors, Deathriders, Diecast, Texas Hippie Coalition, Forever in Terror, Stemm, and Caustic Method. Hallows Eve Announces New Guitarist

Georgia metallers Hallows Eve have issued the following statement about recruiting a new guitar player:

"Hallows Eve has replaced one of their guitarists, Chris Abbamonte, with long time Atlanta musician, Evan Bartleson. Evan brings not only over 25 years in the Atlanta music scene but, more importantly, his unique playing, writing and live performance skills, as well. Hallows Eve Cancels Metal Merchants Appearance

Atlanta metallers, Hallows Eve, have issued the following statement explaining their cancellation of appearing at Norway's Metal Merchants Festival:

"It is with deep regret that Hallows Eve will not be able to play the upcoming Festival in Oslo, Norway."

"The bottom line is our vocalist, Stacy Andersen, has a bleeding ulcer in his upper respiratory system that is bleeding into his stomach. Surgery will more than likely occur before the festival. Recovery time will be 2-3 months." More...

Hallows Eve Reveal New Album Details

Reunited Atlanta-based thrashers HALLOWS EVE have set "The Never-Ending Sleep" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in July. The CD — which features original HALLOWS EVE members Stacy Andersen (vocals) and Tommy Stewart (bass) alongside Doyle Bright (guitar), Jim Gorman (drums) and Chris Abbamonte (guitar), was produced by Doyle Bright of RIGOR MORTIS and is said to be "a conscious effort to achieve the feel and sound of 'Tales of Terror' (1985) and 'Death and Insanity' (1986)," according to bassist Tommy Stewart.

Hallows Eve To Play Atlanta's 'Slamming Ink Show'

New England Metal and Hardcore Fest Lineup

The lineup has been announced for this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. The event will be headlined by black metal act Dimmu Borgir and feature performances from Bury Your Dead, Kylesa, The Devil Wears Prada, 100 Demons, Nora, The Human Abstract, Death Before Dishonor, Dead Hearts, Unearth, Shai Hulud and many more.

Ex Hallows Eve, Rigor Mortis Members Join Forces

Ex-HALLOWS EVE vocalist Stacy Andersen and former RIGOR MORTIS frontman Doyle Bright have joined forces in a new Atlanta, Georgia-based project called TWO PRONGED CROWN. The post-hardcore/metal band is currently writing and recording material for its upcoming debut album.

Hallows Eve Sign With Xtreem Music

Xtreem Music has announced the signing of the reunited Atlanta-based thrashers HALLOWS EVE. The band returned in 2005 with a self-financed fourth album, entitled "Evil Never Dies", which went unnoticed due to a lack of real promotion and distribution, so the band finally signed a deal with Xtreem Music for a worldwide release that will result in proper exposure for this long-awaited return.

The new HALLOWS EVE line-up features two original members from the first album: Tommy Stewart (bass, vocals) and Skullator (guitar, vocals) and their style, although still retaining their original doses of that powerful blend of thrash and heavy metal, has incorporated more current influences from styles such as death metal with even some blast beats.

"Evil Never Dies" was recorded at Van Gogh Studios in Atlanta with co-producer Chris Gailfoil. The album follows the release of a two-track single, "Evil Offerings", which was recorded at Van Gogh in 2004.

Metal Blade Records recently released a deluxe box set by HALLOWS EVE, entitled "History of Terror". This collection includes all three of the group's Metal Blade albums (all remastered!), piles of bonus material and a bonus DVD (with a playing time of 200-plus minutes). Liner notes were included as well.
