My Own Grave Announces European Tour Dates

Vocalist Mikael Aronsson of Swedish death metal band My Own Grave has issued the following announcement about touring alongside Demonical and Deathbound:

"In February we'll head out on the open, icy winter roads of Europe together with fellow madmen of Demonical and Deathbound. The madness will, I believe, be of epic proportions. Come out if you dare, and support the metal of death!! Check the poster below for dates and venues."

Demonical Announces European Tour Dates

Swedish metallers Demonical have announced they will be embarking on their "Accession To The Throne" European tour starting in February, 2010. This is what vocalist Sverker Widgren had to say about the tour:

”Old-school brother lowlifes sharing bus touring Europe for three weeks in the middle of the winter - what could possibly go wrong? Every tour I did was the best tour I ever did, and I have no reason to believe that this will be an exception. Looking forward to meet old (school) friends in February; or as we know it – what Stays on the road Happens on the road! It must never stop!”

Demonical Cancels Unholy Fest Appearance

As was previously reported, Dark Funeral, Cradle of Filth, Hate, Satyricon, Blood Red Throne, Moonspell, Amon Amarth, Obituary, and Enslaved have all canceled their appearances at the Unholy Fest. Demonical has now also issued the following statement about canceling their appearance at the festival:

"We have canceled our appearance at the Unholy Fest. As we all know by now this festival is a massive fake and will not happen at all.

"We were very skeptical to the festival already from the beginning as we knew the promoters reputation but of course we hoped for the best. We feel sorry for all those who have bought a ticket, hopefully you are able to get a refund."

Swedish death metallers, Demonical, have issued the following update on the new album:

"Finally we are done with the recording, mixing and mastering of 'Hellsworn.' It sure took ages and caused some frustration but I assure you, it was worth it. Facebreaker Plans "Northern Death Blow Tour 2009"

An 18-date crusade through Europe, dubbed the "Northern Death Blow Tour 2009," is being planned. The bill consists of FACEBREAKER alongside Finnish TORTURE KILLER and Swedish DEMONICAL. The tour will kick off in Stockholm on May 15. Exact dates will be announced soon.

Demonical Reveals New Album Title

Swedish death metal band Demonical has posted the following message online:

"On December 17th we will crawl into the pits of Necromorbus Studios in order to start the recordings of our second full-length assault entitled Hellsworn. The album will be mastered at Black Lounge Studios in late January and revealed for the masses in April 2009 (exact release date tba).

"The album loaded with pure Swedish death metal darkness will include nine blasphemies such as:

'Baptized in Fire', 'World Serpent', 'Children Of Sin', 'Death Metal Darkness', 'Bow To The Monolith', 'Bloodridden', 'Gods Of The North'.

Demonical Entering The Studio

The successful festivals in September (Tunes Of Death and Morbide Festispiele) completed DEMONICAL's 16-month touring cycle for "Servants of the Unlight." Now DEMONICAL will concentrate on their second - yet untitled – full-length album, which will be recorded during November and December at Necromorbus Studios for a release in April 2009.

Demonical Announce New Vocalist

Swedish deathsquad DEMONICAL have issued the following update:

"We hereby announce that Sverker "Widda" Widgren - also known for his guitarwork with DIABOLICAL and as the co-owner of Necromorbus Studios - has joined Demonical as the new full-time vocalist.

After a splendid session-job on the Finnish tour we came to the conclusion that Widda is the right man for the job. His first "official" show will be at Tantogården in Stockholm on April 4th together with NECROPHOBID and SPAZMOSITY.

We are also sorry for the fact that we have to cancel the scheduled show in Västerås, Sweden, set for May 9th due to various timing problems.

Demonical Issues Vocalist Update

DEMONICAL, the new Swedish death metal band featuring past and present members from CENTINEX, GRAVE, REGURGITATE, INTERMENT, AMARAN, WORLD BELOW and DELLAMORTE, recently parted ways with vocalist Ludvig Engellau due to "musical and personal reasons."

The group has since issued the following update: "We still haven't decided who will be the new permanent vocalist in DEMONICAL and as there is no hurry really, we will not take any rash decision either."

"As stated earlier we had a guy named Widda with us on the tour in Finland. For the Metalmania festival in Poland we tried something different and gave Lisa (yep, that's a female) the opportunity to front the band. Both were great and did excellent jobs so big hails to them!!" More...
