Despite having members from established bands, Ruin has decided to keep their real identities a secret and let the overpowering music do all the talking.
The music is suffocatingly heavy, dense, dark as your enemy's soul, and relentless like your recurring nightmares. The "Spread Plague Hell" release is out now via Nero One Records and can be heard below or picked on limited cassette or digital formats right here. The track listing is as follows:

Swedish death metal groups Relentless and Ruin will team up for a split CD release this November.
Relentless, a three-piece from Örebro, will contribute four new songs to the split. One of these new tracks, "Perish In Blasphemy," can be heard now via the band's MySpace page. Ruin, a quartet also from Örebro, will supply six previously unreleased tracks.
Members of both Relentless and Ruin are currently active in Coldworker. Coldworker recently recorded a couple of cover songs to appear on upcoming tribute albums. The band has put their take on Nasum's “Den Mörka Tiden” and Repulsion's "Crematorium."
Hollywood, California-based RUIN will be hitting the studio with producer Mikey Doling (former SNOT/SOULFLY guitarist) March 25-29 to record an instrumental demo for the purposes of landing a new lead singer. "We are currently holding auditions for vocalists who might be interested," the band write in a statement. "We previously recorded [a demo] with Mikey [producing] in 2005 and parted ways with singer Pat Larkin in February 2006."
RUIN's last demo featured a guest appearance by Doling in the song "Pull You Down".
