Swedish act Apostasy has officially set the "Nuclear Messiah" album for release on August 24th, 2011. Pre-order information is available here, and you can check out the artwork below. "Nuclear Messiah" is the follow-up to 2005's "Devilution."

Vocalist Fredric Edin of Swedish act Apostasy has issued the following announcement about streaming a new song online:
"We have the pleasure to tell you that we have a brand new killer track from the new album, available for streaming at our facebook site, until sunday then it will be taken down. So don't miss the opportunity! Rock on."

Swedish extreme metal act Apostasy has posted the following statement online, announcing the addition of Peter Huss to the band's ranks as its new permanent guitarist:
"Peter Huss has done tons of session/live works and can play any type of music. He will be a great addition to APOSTASY on our upcoming songwriting/recording/live/drinking sessions.
"We're excited to have this amazing guitarist onboard. And the best thing beside his chops is that he's a really nice and easygoing dude with a great sense of humor and great passion for music.
"Peter also plays guitar in the legendary Swedish band SHINING. He has toured with SINERGY in 1999 as a session guitarist, replacing Alexi Laiho.
"Some of the bands/albums Peter has participated on lately are Swedish death metal band RUINED SOUL, Dutch/Belgian death metal band UNLOCKED, Norwegian metal band PANTHEON I, and he did all guitars on the ISSA 'Sign Of Angels' album with monster drummer Uli Kusch, among others."
Swedish metallers Apostasy have checked in with the following announcement about inking a record deal to release their new album "Nuclear Messiah" in April of 2011:
"We have been offered a deal with Swedish Sony Music label Rambo and thus our third album Nuclear Messiah will be released in April. Currently we are working on finishing the design for the album and so far it is going smoothly, until then, make sure to listen to our teaser here on myspace."

Guitarist Ludvig Johansson has announced his departure from the Swedish metal band band Apostasy.
Ludvig Johansson comments on his departure, "I have decided to leave the band for personal reasons. It has been a hard decision to make, and there`s no hard feelings involved. It`s been a great time and I wish all the guys in the band the best luck in their future endeavors."
Swedish blackened death metal band Apostasy has uploaded four new songs from their upcoming album, "Nuclear Messiah," to their MySpace page. The songs uploaded are "The Blacker The Blood," "Horns," "Nuclear Messiah," and "The Man With A Thousand Faces."

As you can see we have uploaded a rough mixed full length version of our title track from our coming album, we left our previous label and looking for a new one so we participate in a contest for a deal with NuclearBlast which would be the grand finale for our music to reach out to people. Sweden's Apostasy has issued the following update about the recording of their new album:
"We sat up for recordings around 7 pm earlier today and Fredric nailed 2 songs in something like 3 hours or so. And it sounds so fucking good... It really feels awesome to be this confident in the upcoming material. We really think that we will blow you all away... As soon as there is a good pre mix done we hope to be able to share some stuff with you!"

Guitarist Henrik Johansson of the Swedish black metal band APOSTASY was murdered in his home Wednesday night/Thursday morning (March 8/9). "According to the police, his girlfriend stabbed him without known reason in his heart area and he bled to death before the ambulance showed up!" Edin said.
