Insomnius Dei To Release Debut In November

INSOMNIUS DEI, the Australian ambient/experimental doom/death project led by Mark Kelson (THE ETERNAL, CRYPTAL DARKNESS), will release its debut album, "Illusions of Silence", on November 19 via the Firebox sub-label Firedoom Music. The CD was recorded at Kelson's No. 13 Studios in Melbourne, Australia with Mark engineering and producing. Mastering duties were handled by Endel Rivers, who works with Mark's other band THE ETERNAL as engineer/producer.

Terry is also the major lyrical contributor to INSOMNIUS DEI, and his vocals range from gentle and emotive to straight-out brutal and aggressive. Insomnius Dei Update

The solo side project of THE ETERNAL's Mark Kelson has developed into a full band called Insomnius Dei which features a couple current members of The Eternal and a former Cryptal Darkness member.

The music is described as Pink Floyd meets death metal. You can be the judge for yourself. There are a couple rough samples of their upcoming release 'Illusions of Silence' on-line at the band's website and MySpace account.

'Illusions of Silence' will have seven tracks and clocks in at around 60 minutes. Full band samples from the complete demo will be on-line in a few weeks.
