Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza Totals Van

Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza wrecked their van last week while touring in Texas. The group remains on tour but is currently seeking monetary donations. The following statement has been issued:

"After we played Lewisville, TX Thursday night we were involved in an accident with a minivan and it left us without a tour van. We just got the van for this tour and we are still making payments. We left the van in a graveyard in Lewisville and a great friend 'Lina Dykes' from Plano, TX was so kind to tag along with us and let us tour in her van. So the wreck has not stopped us deilvering the charttopping hits. Hahaha. Any donations are much, much appreciated. Please donate through Paypal using ttdtebooking@gmail.com."

The Acacia Strain Announce Tour

THE ACACIA STRAIN, have confirmed most dates for an upcoming fall headlining tour dubbed Crashing Through the Holidays to continue supporting the band's latest release, 'The Dead Walk.' Joining the band on the road will be Despised Icon, Full Blown Chaos and the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, with additional support from Recon, Implosive Disgorgance and Ligeia on select dates. Currently wrapping up dates alongside labelmates All That Remains as well as Protest The Hero and Too Pure To Die, THE ACACIA STRAIN will take a month off the road before heading back out in late November.

"We're wicked excited for this tour," frontman Vincent Bennet says. "I've wanted to tour with all of these bands forever, and we finally are. We are going to be playing some songs that we haven't played in forever or haven't been able to play due to the lack of a second guitar (hint) and will be showcasing a new song or two. Expect a ton of "thumbs up" and some serious hangouts. Save your pennies too, because we are going to have a bunch of one time only merch designs! I can think of no better way to ring in the holiday season than with all the bands on this tour. Sorry to our friends in the Great White North though, we are seriously trying to stay away from those dangerous snow-covered roadways. I promise we will make it up to you when the warmer weather hits. See everyone in November and December!"

Tony Danza Tapdance Guitarist Forms New Label

Brad Thomson, guitarist for The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, has formed a new record label called Midgets With Machetes. Thomson has reached a tentative agreement with Uprising Records that will see his label's releases distributed through Uprising/RED. Thomson has issued the following statement:

"As I toured the country with Danza I've come across many talented, hard working bands that should by right already be signed but for one reason or another haven't gotten that opportunity. Over the last year I decided to actually do something about it and that something is Midgets With Machetes. Our good friends in My Bitter End had recently signed to Uprising when we toured with them last summer and they could not say enough about the great support that Uprising had already given them and what a great guy Sean Muttaqi was and as Danza looked for a new label home last year Uprising was one of the last remaining labels on a very short list. When we decided to sign to Black Market Activities I was very pleased with the decision but my conversations with Sean were very productive and I knew that I wanted to work with him in some capacity so I am pleased to now have that opportunity."

Midgets With Machetes has already announced the signing of Lawrence, Kansas metal and hardcore outfit The Cast Pattern to a multi-album deal. The band is currently preparing songs for their full-length debut, which will hit streets later this year.

Bands eager to submit demos can find contact information here.
