Between the Buried and Me will return to the road this fall to headline North America with support from Norway's Enslaved plus progressive masters Intronaut and prog newcomers Native Construct.
Between the Buried and Me's Dan Briggs comments: "This is a package that we handpicked each band, which doesn't always happen. It shows off the diversity of the progressive music universe and we couldn't be more excited to have a young band like Native Construct, Intronaut who are great friends of ours already, and the legends in Enslaved, along with us."
Ivar from Enslaved offered the following statement: "When we ended our highly successful tour just this March, it was with an outspoken 'we sure hope there's another trip across the pond already this year.' And wouldn't you know it; there IS going to be just that! The gods heard our call. OR; it could have been the booking agents and Between the Buried and Me - this tour coming up from November 18th 2015 will see us supporting them on a trek throughout USA for the following month. We will add our extreme flavour to the prog-metal package; to make sure our own faithful American fans (which we will never be able to thank enough for their relentless support), as well as the new listeners we'll meet on the way gets the full-blown Enslaved-experience!"

Los Angeles based post-progressive metal band Intronaut has begun work on a 5th full length album. The album will be recorded with Josh Newell (Cynic), with Devin Townsend then handling the mixing. Vocalist/guitarist, Sacha Dunable comments:
"Really pumped on these songs. Overall its going to be a bit more dense and brutal than the past couple records, but mostly still the Intronaut you've grown to love or hate. We're tracking mostly live like real men in a real band, at Clearlake Audio, where we did "Valley Of Smoke" with Josh Newell once again engineering. Then we're sending it off to Devin Townsend to mix, which is super exciting."

Intronaut will hit the road next week starting in San Francisco. The band has been on the road in support of current album "Habitual Levitations" ever since its release on Century Media in March of 2013, but this special run of shows is in celebration of the band's 10 year anniversary.
Intronaut has also created some Spotify playlists just in time to jump in the van. Listen in at these links:

Intronaut - Top 10 Songs Played In The Van Over The Past 10 Years
Guitarist/singer Sacha Dunable had this to say about the tour: "We're taking a break from writing a new record to celebrate our 10th anniversary as a band with this special run of shows. We haven't finalized a set list yet, but expect at least one song from every release, and maybe a special guest or two to come out and help us play them. Joining us on these shows will be our Canadian friends Anciients, and the LA show will feature Ides Of Gemini, Silver Snakes, and The Great Wall. More...
In early 2014 it was announced that enigmatic prog outfit Cloudkicker would tour North America with Intronaut. Message boards went crazy over this announcement, as Cloudkicker, aka Ben Sharp, had vowed the band would never play live.
The two bands piled into a van and every night played to an overzealous fanbase who knew they were experiencing a perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity.
For those unfortunate ones who missed a show, the band stopped off at Texas recording studio, The Fathom Tree, and played the set start to finish live and captured it all on tape. Century Media is proud to release "Cloudkicker - Live With Intronaut" from this recording session. The track listing is:
1. Subsume Part 1
2. Subsume Part 2
3. We are going to invert.../Here, wait a minute, damn it!
4. We're goin' in, we're going down.
6. You and yours
8. Subsume Part 8
9. Push it way up!

Between The Buried and Me will be returning to the road in 2014 with a headlining tour of North America.
Joining BTBAM on this trek will be Deafheaven, Intronaut, and The Kindred. In anticipation of the journey, the band recently released a short video recorded during its most recent North American excursion at the end of 2013.
The video, as the band describes is, "The process. The preparation. A small glimpse into the beginnings of a BTBAM show. Let's switch off together." The video was produced, filmed and directed by Raymond McCrea Jones and Wes Richardson, with editing by Raymond McCrea Jones, and visual effects by Wes Richardson. U.K. progressive rock band TesseracT will once again be returning to North America. It will be the band's third tour supporting the critically acclaimed "Altered State" album (see review here).
Former touring partners, Intronaut, who will be fresh off a tour of their own with Between The Buried and Me and Deafheaven will be direct support. To make these events even more special, instrumentalists, DIY prog artist, Cloudkicker, will be touring for the first time ever with the members of Intronaut as his backing band.
"Last year we spent a few short weeks with a bunch of west coast musicians called Intronaut, stalwarts of the scene who have been honing their skills for years into an awesome blend of progressive jazz tinged metal. For as long as we can remember there has been a home studio producer of genre defying music called Cloudkicker. He has until now been restricted to the studio. So, it's with great pleasure that we get to rejoin our brothers in Intronaut, and be a part of Cloudkicker's first ever tour! This will be seriously fun."
"When we first met Ben a few years back and discovered the Cloudkicker album "Beacons", we unanimously fell in love with it and have since bugged him to let us be his band. Now it is finally happening. Intronaut is absolutely over the moon about this once in a lifetime opportunity for Cloudkicker fans to hear his stuff live. Sweetening the deal even further is the fact that we get to do the tour with our favorite British chaps in TesseracT. This tour is going to kick ass!"
Cloudkicker, aka, Ben Sharp elaborates:
"This just happened to be a time when Intronaut was free and, incredibly, I was able to get the entire month of April off from work. We have been in touch since 2010 and they had told me a few times that we could make this happen, but it wasn't until last fall that I decided to give it an honest effort. Having the professionalism and technical proficiency of a band like Intronaut was the piece of the puzzle that finally encouraged me to pursue this since they are making it so easy for me. I know that when we show up for the first night of the tour everything will be locked in and we can just focus on having a good time." More...
