Visceral Bleeding Splits With Guitar Player

Sweden's Visceral Bleeding has issued the following announcement about splitting with the band's guitarist and seeking a replacement:

"As many of you probably know we are still one guitarist short. Since we parted ways with Martin Bermheden and Peter Persson left the band we've recruited old Prostitute Disfigurement guitarist Benny Bats to take over the rhythm guitar spot. We've tried out a couple of different guys for the lead guitarist spot but for various reasons none of them have worked out. So now we're doing a new sweep for a lead guitarist. Anyone who's interested in the spot is welcome to contact us at: leadguitaristVB@gmail.com

"Please take the following things in consideration first before sending in your application:
*You need to be a great guitarist with a burning passion for pushing your own boundaries
*Being able to take things out by ear because there are no tablatures for the solos
*Previous studio- and touring experience is preferrable, being able to tour is a must!
*The closer you live to Sweden the better
*Have professional and relaxed attitude
*Must be able to make Visceral Bleeding one of your main priorities for things to work out

"Also, feel free to include a short biography. Looking forward to hearing from you!"

Visceral Bleeding Parts Ways With Guitarist

Sweden's Visceral Bleeding has issued the following update about parting ways with their guitarist Peter:

"It's been way too long since we made any updates on what's happening in the V.B camp, we apologize for this, we know a lot of you've been wondering about what's going on. We’re all very sad to see Peter go, things will definitely not be the same without him in the band. We wish him the best of luck in the future and will remain close friends as he will always be involved in this band one way or another. We have already found ourselves a replacement for Peter though.

"Benny from Prostitute Disfigurement will take his place and we're all very excited about this. We've known Benny since we did our first tour together as opening acts for Deicide back in 2005. Us and all the guys in P.D hit it off right away and we've been close friends ever since. We know that Benny will fit this band perfectly and it's gonna be really exciting to start working on the new stuff together. While the writing for the new album continues so does our search for a lead guitarist. We've tried out a couple of guys for the spot already but for various reasons it hasn't worked out. Since Benny lives in Holland we would really need the other guitarist to live nearby Malmö so we can rehearse on a regular basis. So if you think you have what it takes or maybe know someone that would, please don't hesitate to contact us!" More...

Visceral Bleeding Parts Ways With Guitarist

Swedish metallers, Visceral Bleeding, have issued the following update regarding the departure of guitarist Martin "Germ" Bermhedens:

"Due to Martin "Germ" Bermhedens busy schedule with The Berzerker we've decided to part ways. The decision was mutual since we need everyone in this band to put V.B as their first priority for things to work and Germ felt that this was no longer possible for him. We wish him the best of luck with The Berzerker and all of his other projects." More...

Visceral Bleeding Begin Writing New Material

Swedish death metallers VISCERAL BLEEDING have issued the following update:

"After the tour last year with DEICIDE, we all felt that we needed a break from the band and because of that we only did a couple of shows during the rest of 2007. But now after a well-needed rest we have regained our strength and we've now started writing material for a fourth album. As of now, we only have a few riffs here and there but we have a well-formed plan for the next album and we're all very excited to start working on this. So that's that."

VISCERAL BLEEDING's third full-length album, "Absorbing the Disarray", was released last year via Neurotic Records.

Visceral Bleeding Post Video Online

VISCERAL BLEEDING's video for the song "Disgust the Vile" has been posted online on the Neurotic Records YouTube channel at this location.

"Disgust the Vile" is one of the two video clips that will end up on the forthcoming VISCERAL BLEEDING full-length album, titled "Absorbing the Disarray".

With regards to the musical direction of the upcoming CD, guitarist Peter Persson recently said, "We deliberately strived to make 'Transcend into Ferocity' [2004] a bit more 'unpolished' to make it feel more aggressive and more ferocious [than 2002's 'Remnants of Deprivation']. With the new album we have a different kind of vibe we want to express and therefore the sound will be accordingly. More...

Visceral Bleeding Part Ways With Guitarist

Swedish death metallers VISCERAL BLEEDING have parted ways with guitarist Marcus Nilsson. Marcus commented: "It's been an interesting and exhilarating ride, that's for sure, but I feel my lack of commitment to the band at this point will likely only hold the other guys back. I therefore step aside to let someone else join forces and strengthen the VISCERAL momentum for future brutalization! My musical endeavors do not end here though. I will never put down the guitar and will continue exploring the vast realm of music, indefinitely. I wish VISCERAL BLEEDING the best of luck and hope they will succeed in whatever they aspire to! I'd like to thank all the people I have met through the band, for their support and good times: Cheers to you all!"

The remaining members of VISCERAL BLEEDING would like to make clear that there are absolutely no hard feelings involved towards Marcus or vice versa. Guitarist Peter Persson added: "Marcus remains a very close friend to us all, we go way back and share a lot of history and VISCERAL BLEEDING wishes him the best of luck with everything he decides to put his focus on in the future." Martin Germ Bermheden (ENSHRINED) will be filling the vacant spot as the group's lead guitarist and will appear on their upcoming CD.

VISCERAL BLEEDING are expected to enter the studio in the summer to record the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2004's "Transcend Into Ferocity", tentatively due before the end of the year.
