German post black metal act Agrypnie has issued the following announcement about releasing a new album:
"It’s time to let you folks know about the release date of 'Aetas Cineris.' Unfortunately it’s not going to be this year anymore. February 2013 is going to be the big date.
"In case you want to listen the new album in advance... On the 24th of November we are going to do a listening session in Ludwigsburg together with the press."

This year's Summer Breeze festival will be taking place from August 16th - 18th, with full details available at the festival's website here. The organizers of Summer Breeze have now issued the following announcement about confirming new bands:
"Since the release of their amazing breakthrough album 'Inwards', Dew-Scented have been at the forefront of European thrash metal. Since then, the cool bunch led by frontman Leif Jensen have been producing fantastic albums full of unstoppable riff power and overwhelming intensity at nicely regular intervals, cementing the band's excellent reputation time and again. In 2012, Dew-Scented aim at kick-starting their career with an entirely new line-up – with the exception of band boss Leif – and the fantastic new album 'Icarus', and are gearing up to shatter the Summer Breeze Open Air into small pieces. We are stoked to welcome the indestructible machine called Dew-Scented at our festival once more. Get thrashed!
"When Agrypnie played the Summer Breeze festival in 2008 for the first and only time so far, they were booked as consolation for all those who were mourning the recent disbanding of Nocte Obducta. Four years, one studio album and one EP later, the Hessians have made a career for themselves, having now reached the same level as the aforementioned group. Their new studio album is still being recorded as we speak, but their last EP 'Asche' was already an announcement for big things to come in the realm of post black metal. Expressive, multi-faceted, melancholic, dynamic – all these attributes fit Agrypnie like a glove and are underlined by the fact that their songs don't ever become predictable or interchangable. One of the most exciting bands our scene has to offer nowadays."

"If you are playing either bass guitar or keyboard, do not hesitate to write to the band directly: email@example.com."
Supreme Chaos Records has issued the following update regarding the delay of the release of Agrypnie's new album, "16:"
"Because of problems in the manufacturing process, AGRYPNIEs album '16' has to be delayed - again. Our distributor has understandably forced us to set the new release date to 15th of January 2010. This is due to the fact that Christmas and New Years Eve are right next door and of course the people working at the distributor want to have some holidays as well."
"We feel really sorry for the fans who have already preordered the album and are waiting to receive it before christmas. And again this is beyond our control. We hope that these problems will not occur again in the future. "
