Brainstorm have issued a quick update between tour rehearsals and interview sessions. Their single, 'All Those Words,' is out and entered the single charts in Hungary at #5.
They have released new tour dates as well including a new festival date in the beginning of June in Italy and the re-sceduled UK dates in October supporting Saxon.

Saxon have re-scheduled those UK dates which they've been forced to postpone from March. The shows will now happen at Bradford Rio October 16, Dudley JB's 17, Nottingham Rock City 18, Edinburgh Liquid Rooms 19. Brainstorm will be the support act.
The release of the new, long awaited Brainstorm album “Liquid Monster” is drawing near. It will be in stores on April the 5th! But you have the possibility to check it out earlier at release parties in Germany, Austria and France. In addition to the listening session, there will be “Liquid Monster” competitions with killer prizes like limited shirts, limited radio singles, posters, etc!
At a few selected locations, members of Brainstorm will be in attendance for signing sessions and meet & greets!

Tris of aces from USA for Cultural Association Orpheus: Anvil, Exciter and Vicious Rumors confirmed their shows at Tradate Iron Fest 2005! Finally 3 so much appreciated bands are back in Italy for really awsome gigs!

Veteran Swiss hard rockers Gotthard have been confirmed for the Tradate Iron Fest, a five-day event set to take place June 1-5 at Campo Sportivo in Tradate (VA), Italy. Gotthard will play on June 3rd.

Brainstorm have finished mixing their long awaited new full-length album "Liquid Monster" at House Of Music Studios (Germany) with producer Achim Köhler.
"Some people were surprised about my enthusiastic comments on the new tracks, as I am usually the most critical part of the band right after the recording sessions...", quotes lead singer Andy B. Franck, "and I'm even more than enthusiastic now that I have heard the final versions. The more I listen to the songs, the more I realize what real 'monster' we have created here! It's definitely time for everybody to get their own picture of it!"
"Talking about pictures brings me to our bonus DVD, which will be included in the limited edition of "Liquid Monster"", says guitarist Todde, "it will contain lots of video footage from our last tour, the festivals, off-stage-footage, and some studio sequences for your viewing pleasure, as well as some bonus audio stuff. It will be entitled "Streets, Stages & Studios" and the title says it all, period!"

Andy of Brainstorm sent out an update recently about their their upcoming album that is in mixing now, and more:
So it's done: "Liquid Monster" (to be released April 4th, 2005) is now in the mix, and I'm really proud to say, that this album is maybe more exciting than everything else we've done before! Tracks like "Worlds Are Comin' Through", "Shades And Shadows", "Inside The Monster", "My Invisible Enemy" and "Lifeline" do REALLY kick ass and represent Brainstorm better than ever! A few days ago we also had our final fotoshooting and are now ready to shoot the next videoclip for the upcoming single "All Those Words" (to be released March, 7th.). Stay tuned for the final tracklist, some amazing infos about the single, the album and.... us :-), some pics... and be prepared for the most intense BS songs EVER!
At Vance is just about to finish the new album. The studio drummer will be Franco Zuccaroli. The band is still searching for a drummer.

Danish Progressive melodic metal shooting stars Mercenary are nominated for the Danish Metal Award 2004 in four categories: Best album, best live act, best vocalist and best guitarist. Just get on http://www.danishmetal.dk/Awards2004.htm and vote via e-mail until December 31st 2004.
After their strong performance at German Summer Breeze Festival 2004 and several shows with Evergrey a lot of new tourdates already got in. The Rock Station Festival in Ankara, Turkey taking place in March 2005, the lengthy European Tour with Brainstorm & At Vance in April/May and Wacken Open Air 2005 are surely some highlights.

Brainstorm have decided to postpone the release of their upcoming album "Liquid Monster". "We simply want to give the best possible album to our fans and due to some changes in the time-scedule of the recordings we got the chance to take some more time," comments guitar player Torsten Ihlenfeld. "Mark my words, it will be worth the wait!"
The single-CD All Those Words will be released the 7th of March, 2005. It will include new songs as well as unreleased tracks and video-clips and is meant as an appetizer for greater things to come. Talking about the full length album, the new Brainstorm longplayer Liquid Monster is due for release the 4th of April, 2005.
"This album will fullfill your high expectations," says Torsten. "We are simply overwhelmed by the new songs and the recording process which is running very smooth by now."

After headlining the "Night Of Power" Festival in Germany last week, which also marked the final date of their "Tempting The World" Tour in support of their critically acclaimed 2003 Soul Temptation album, Brainstorm are about to enter the "House Of Music" Studios together with long-time producer Achim Köhler on November 1st, to start the recording sessions of their upcoming album, entitled Liquid Monster, which will be released February 28th, 2005 through Metal Blade Records. Germany's Brainstorm have set "Liquid Monster" as the tentative title for the successor of their highly acclaimed 2003 "Soul Temptation" album.
As guitarist Torsten Ihlenfeld comments: "We are right before finishing the main songwriting and pre-production process and I must say that the new material simply sounds amazing!“ and vocalist Andy B. Franck adds:” Yes,… I think now we have created a REAL Monster!”
The album release date is set for the 28th of February. An advance single, feat. new album tracks as well as some non-album tracks and a new enhanced video-clip in support of the new album will be released on January 31st.
Brainstorm has confirmed their first bunch for 2005 European tour dates. No supporting acts have been announced yet, but check out the Brainstorm website for more news soon.

With the cancellation of the Masters Open Air in Brazil, Brainstorm will not be going to South America just yet. Instead, Brainstorm will headline the Night Of Power Festival in Germany on October 16th 2004.

The Swedish Power Metal fortress NOCTURNAL RITES announces the release of their sixth studio album "New World Messiah" on March 24th 2004. This brilliant new forged piece of steel was produced in their hometown Umea. For the mixdown and mastering they left Sweden for the first time to get a glorious sound from Finnvox Studio in Helsinki, Finland. The man behind the desk was T.T. Oksala who recently did a great job for bands like Tiamat, Apocalyptica and other stars of the global Rock empire. A warm and powerful sound was ensured by Minerva Pappi, one of the finest female mastering engineers currently in the business. Once more the five defenders of true metal deliver finest melodic, bombast Power Metal garnished with delicious chorus lines.
Directly after the release of "New World Messiah" the band will head out April 2nd 2004 for a massive European tour together with EDGUY and BRAINSTORM. Label mates TAD MOROSE, recently released the highly acclaimed "Modus Vivendi", will replace Brainstorm for the last five shows in Scandinavia.

The Primal Fear Tour with Brainstorm and Rob Rock has been cancelled, as Primal Fear have decided to Join the Iced Earth European Tour with Thunderstone.
"Sometimes a band has to make decisions — a lot of people could be happy, some not," PRIMAL FEAR write in an official statement announcing their addition to the tour.
