Threat Signal Issues New Album Update

Threat Signal has issued the following announcement about recording the band's upcoming third album:

"On June 12th we are driving our asses out to Massachusetts to begin tracking our 3rd release with metal mastermind Zeuss. He has worked on many killer albums from bands such as Chimaira, Hatebreed, All That Remains, The Acacia Strain, Born Of Osiris, Shadows Fall, and many more… We are extremely excited to have Zeuss on board producing and mixing our new record!

"So what can you expect from the new Threat Signal record? Well… basically we said lets write the heaviest fuckin record we possibly can. We've been experimenting with 7 string guitars and drop tunings since the early days, so we have decided to write almost the whole new record that way. We are headed back to the Under Reprisal days but with bigger balls.

"We will have weekly updates and video blogs of our studio progress, so keep checking back for that shit."

Threat Signal Issues Band Update

Threat Signal front man Jon Howard has checked in with the following announcement about working on a new album and band member lineup changes:

"A LOT happened in 2010 and it’s been a great year for us. So here is an update of where we are at, and where we are headed in 2011. First, I’d like to thank all of the crazy fans in Europe for supporting our first European tour. We had a blast playing for you in November/December and we hope to cross the pond again real soon to shred some faces!

"Second, I’d like to announce two new members of the Threat Signal camp. We destroyed Europe with these guys, and we couldn’t be more excited with the sound of the band right now and what the future holds together. Replacing Norm Killeen on drums is Alex Rudinger from Frederick MD, USA. I caught wind of Alex’s drumming through Youtube. He has a large number of drumming videos including covers, and originals. My jaw dropped when I first saw this kid play! Check it out at at this location. More...

Threat Signal Comments On Upcoming European Tour

Canadian modern metallers THREAT SIGNAL are on the way to Europe in about two weeks.

Jon Howard comments, "Finally!!! We are flying our Canadian asses over to Europe. We've been looking forward to this moment since we started the band in 2005. We've finally made it happen and we couldn't be more excited! Since we didn't get a chance to tour our first record 'Under Reprisal' in Europe, we've decided we are going to include a lot of those songs in our set list. We will also be playing a few songs from our latest album 'Vigilance'. Raunchy and Sybreed have agreed to join us on the tour, which I'm very happy about. It’s great to play with such influential musicians and actually really enjoy watching the bands play every night. I've been a fan of these bands for years. So if you think your European asses can out drink a Canadian, come down to the show and let’s see what you got! We'll be hanging out in the crowd and it will be a party every single night. Looking forward to meeting all of you! Cheers" More...
