New Jersey technical death metallers, The Binary Code, have issued the following update on their Myspace page regarding the departure of their singer:
"Woody and the Binary Code have parted ways as of February 4th, 2008. Everything was done on good terms. Woody has a life ahead of him that needed some changes, and being in a time consuming band was not on the itinerary. Woody will possibly continue his musical career at a slower pace with his original band In the Ether."
"That all being said, we ARE looking for a singer right now. We have played every show since February 4th without a singer and felt it was a success nonetheless. However, we do want to fill that position once again. A big factor in the decision made between Woody and the Binary Code was dedication. We require a sickening amount of dedication to be in this band. Many of you who know us personally already know how much we rehearse and write throughout the week. If you're interested, and want more details about future plans, possible label details, shows that aren't posted, etc, just ask us." More...

New Jersey death metallers, The Binary Code, issue the following update on their Myspace page:
"Jables here. As I'm sitting here listening to the mastered copy of our new recordings, I keep smiling, because we had the best recording experience we've ever had. Paul Bebel is not only a new, and good friend, but also one of the most talented, nicest, hardworking people I've ever worked with while being in this band since day 1. We've recorded w/ Erik Rutan (T.T.E.O.T.D., Cannibal Corpse, Into the Moat), Jesse Cannon (D.E.P., Saves the Day, Say Anything, Head Automatica), Steve Austin (Converge, Lamb of God, Today is the Day, Circle of Dead Children), and a few more. Paulie (Bebel) has recorded so many popular rappers, it'd be enough to write a novel. Aside from Paulie having the best recording equipment I've EVER come across (hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of hardware, monitors, and microphones), he's also provided the best vibe we've ever been affected by. He whole-heartedly cared about each and every thing we had to say about how we felt about what was going on. Sometimes, these big name metal/rock/pop engineers get this primadona bug up their ass, "I recored _______, so don't tell me it's not right." Paulie will out-live the cock-roaches of the music industry during a nuclear music bomb, with his talent, and appreciation for opinion and perspective. Paulie might not ever read this or ever know we said this about him, but we felt compelled to expressing ourselves this time." More...

New Jersey metal band, The Binary Code have posted the following announcement on their myspace page:
"Singers and bassists, please dont respond if you're favorite band just came out last year. We realize that a lot of kids are into music now, and everyone wants to be in a band, but we're not looking for a singer built off of trend. If anyone is interested, please respond here, or at www.myspace.com/jazzyzuretti. Serious inquiries will be delved into a bit more via phone, as im a bit too busy for the internet."
"Singer Requirements : 18-25, highs, lows, mids, sings. If you were in a previous band, we need to hear a demo (one that you're comfortable with using to display your abilities, not one that shows us your first attempt). If you're new to the game, but feel you have what it takes, we'll need to have an audition, and you can learn what songs are up on our myspace FULLY, and exactly how they are but with your twist. This band is about fusion. We listen to everything, and wont accept monotony. Dont bother if you feel you're a particular brand of music. Be able to drive, be able to support yourself financially, be willing to tour and plays shows all over the US, and most importantly, and obviously, be DEDICATED. I work just as much as the next person, and make time. Its all about your passion." More...
