U.K. stoner band Orange Goblin has revealed that the title of the band's seventh studio album will be "A Eulogy For The Damned." The album is expected in early 2012, however, no firm release date has yet been announced.
The band previously issued statements announcing that the LP will contain ten tracks and some of the titles are: "Red Tide Rising", "Acid Trial", "The Fog", "Stand For Something", "The Filthy & The Few", "Return To Mars", "Save Me From Myself", "The Bishops Wolf", "Death Of Aquarius" and the title track "A Eulogy For The Damned".
Orange Goblin has issued the following announcement about appearing at the upcoming Candlefest in Manchester:
"We are proud to announce that Orange Goblin will headline a one-off exclusive show at Moho Live in Manchester as part of this years Candlefest. Candlefest 2011 is organized by Candlelight Records and will take place at 3 venues this year, as follows:

Orange Goblin has issued the following statement about appearing at the 2012 Bloodstock Festival and update about a new album:
"We are happy to say that Orange Goblin are amongst the first two bands to be announced for Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2012. Orange Goblin are honored to headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday 11th August 2012. This will be OG's first appearance back at Bloodstock since playing at the very first one back in 2001.
"The festival takes place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th August. As well as Orange Goblin, Canadian metallers ANVIL have been announced to appear on the Ronnie James Dio stage. There will be over 100 bands in total and Bloodstock has now become the UK's number 1 outdoor festival for true metal. For updates on the line-up and how to purchase tickets go to this location.
"In other news the band is still currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to what will eventually become their 7th studio album and first for Candlelight Records. The album is still as yet untitled but is being recorded and engineered in a London studio by Jamie Dodd who worked with the band on their Black Sabbath cover 'Symptom Of The Universe' last year for the Metal Hammer magazine Black Sabbath Tribute album.

The organisers of Britain's, Bloodstock Open Air festival have confirmed the first two names for next year's edition of the event. Performing on the main stage (the Ronnie James Dio stage) will be Canadian heavy metal heroes Anvil, who recently released their new album, "Juggernaut Of Justice" through The End Records in North America (Nuclear Blast in Europe) while on the second stage (the Sophie Lancaster stage,) British stoner metal veterans Orange Goblin will be performing. The festival is scheduled to take place in Catton Hall, Derbyshire from August 9th - 12th.
Orange Goblin has officially entered the recording studio in London to begin recording what will be the band's 7th studio album (and first for act's new label, Candlelight Records). The as-yet-untitled album will be released worldwide in March 2012. Orange Goblin has checked in with the following brief recording update:
"Second day of recording. Yesterday was great and Chris managed to get 4 drum tracks finished. Today we hope to finish tracking drums before Martyn starts laying down his THUNDER!!"
Some confirmed song-titles to be included on the album are "Acid Trial," "The Filthy & The Few," "Death of Aquarius," "The Fog," "Left For The Dead (Red Tide Rising)," "The Bishops Wolf" and "Save Me From Myself."
Further details on the release will be announced in the coming weeks as the recording process progresses.
Orange Goblin has checked in with the following announcement about the band's upcoming annual Christmas show:
"We are proud to announce that the festive chaos that is the annual Orange Goblin Christmas show will be taking place on Saturday 17th December at The Underworld, Camden, London.
"This year we have given great thought to which bands should join us to provide the fans with the ultimate Christmas party and we are happy to announce that main support will come from the UK's finest retro-rockers Gentlemens Pistols, promoting their latest album 'At Her Majesty's Pleasure.' Kick-starting the party will be Welsh behemoths and ex-Acrimony heroes Sigirya who will be serving up treats from their debut 'Return To Earth' to be released soon."

Two more bands have been announced for this year's edition of Wales' Hard Rock Hell festival, both of which made their names in the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal Movement. Cirencester based act Dealer will be performing at the event, as will fellow new confirmations Bronz. The festival boasts a host of other NWOBHM acts as well as others and will take place at Pontins in Prestatyn, North Wales from December 1st-4th.

The Maryland Deathfest organizers report that "Sonar will be re-opening before MDF, and technically they already have."
As previously reported, the venue of the Maryland Deathfest was up in the air when Baltimore's Sonar nightclub failed to renew their liquor license and closed its doors.
The organizers futher commented: "These last couple of days have been incredibly confusing and stressful, but we are currently back to the regularly scheduled program. And don't worry, beyond plan B is a plan C, because that's how we roll. See you in a couple of weeks."
As such, the set times that were previously announced should now hold.

The ninth annual Maryland Deathfest has announced the final lineup and set times for the event. However, not long after announcing these details came word that the Baltimore venue, Sonar, unexpectedly closed its doors today. The festival organizers claim to have a backup plan that should involve little to no inconvenience to ticket holders (even those coming from out of town) and will be releasng more details soon.

Orange Goblin announced last month that the band will be entering the studio in August to record a new album. The band also also now been confirmed to appear at the Hard Rock Hell V festival, which takes place at Pontins, Prestatyn, North Wales from Thursday 1st of December to Sunday the 4th of December 2011.
Orange Goblin will play on the Main Stage on Saturday, December 3rd and other acts appearing over the weekend include Girlschool, Tygers of Pan Tang, Black Stone Cherry, The Quireboys, Raven, Praying Mantis, Tyketto, Black Spiders, SAHG, Therapy?, Wolfsbane, Witchfynde, an exclusive festival appearance by Ace Frehley and many more.

"We are happy to announce that Orange Goblin have been confirmed to appear at the UK Sonisphere Festival 2011 which takes place at Knebworth on the weekend of 8th, 9th and 10th July. The band will be playing the Jagermeister Stage on Sunday 10th July.

"We are very happy to announce that Orange Goblin will be returning to the US to celebrate their 15th Anniversary with a full nationwide tour in May and June. Support on all dates (with the exception of Maryland Death Fest and Chicago) comes from Indianapolis doom metal heroes The Gates of Slumber and Brooklyn’s heavy psych-freaks NAAM.
"These tour dates will coincide with the US re-release of the first five Orange Goblin albums, recorded on Rise Above Records and made available in the US through Metal Blade. They will also be available as a limited edition box-set."

Orange Goblin has issued the following announcement about headlining the Stoner Sessions Festival in Spain:
"Orange Goblin has been confirmed as headliners of the Stoner Sessions Festival that will take place at the Sala O Tunel (Coliseum) in A Coruna, Spain on Saturday 13th November 2010. This will be the first Orange Goblin show in Spain since the band's appearance at the Azkena Rock Festival in 2008. Other bands set to appear include Horn of the Rhino, Supa Scoopa, Sahara and one other still to be announced.
