"Attention VOA fans in Tunisia! We are sorry to say that VOA will not play any edition of Rock On Fire In Tunisia - NEVER! Don't believe in any rumors that are out there. The promoters of Rock On Fire have not been responding to our messages since we made it home from the cancelled show on September 3, nor have they paid us our expenses until this day.
"We have never experienced a worse and respect-less treatment than this. Even though we have been very patient and understanding and tried our best to play the show. We even traveled to Tunis without having confirmed return flights home!
"Tunisian infinity events is the most unprofessional concert promoter we have encountered in the VOA history. All fans & bands have to be warned - don't work with these people or buy tickets for any of their events! We are very sorry that lots of people were disappointed on September 3 and we URGE the so-called 'promoters' to pay back the money to the fans!"

Austrian symphonic band Visions of Atlantis announced that male vocalist Mario Plank will be missing the upcoming shows in the U.K. with Leaves' Eyes due to voice and health issues. The band still plans to play the Metal Female Voices Fest and on October 23, 2011 will record the first live DVD for release in 2012. The band reported the following in its Facebook page:
"Dear fans of Visions of Atlantis! Due to some problems concerning the voice and health of our male singer Mario Plank ,who is completely irreplacable for any VoA Live-Show, we are forced to cancel the upcoming UK shows together with our friends of Leaves' Eyes! THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE SHOW @ Metal Female Voices Fest in any way as this show will be played for sure!! And as we're recording our first Live DVD on the 23rd of October we have to do everything bringing him back on 120% capacity which won`t be possible doing another 5 gigs before! We are very sorry for this as we were really looking forward doing these shows but not under these circumstances and we hope you can understand and respect this decision for a 120% VoA show and against some maybe just 50 percent VoA shows with the risk of the cancellation of our whole Live DVD-Production which will be released for everyone to enjoy in 2012! Thx for your respect, Yours VoA"
